I know about the shallow well pump, I am not sure I could run a Bison.
Perhaps I should have used the term: drilled
In 2008 when hurricane Ike hit, as the storm was moving onshore, people were calling into the radio stations complaining that the power companies weren’t out in the middle of the storm repairing the power lines.
The level of stupidity out of these people was just amazing.
When not being used hard, you probably have water around a hundred feet down, maybe more, maybe less, but well guys like to keep a sizable head over the pump to act as your reservoir.
You can make a simple pickup tool with some 3 or 4” pvc pipe, and a rubber flap on the bottom to act as a valve, open on the down motion, flap shuts on extraction. Make sure to keep the rope clean and you’re good to go. The length of the pipe will determine how heavy it is to haul up. As long as you don’t go crazy with usage, this simple tool will get you all the water you need for survival.
Oh yeah, you’ll have to pull your pump out for the big version of this, consider smaller pipe (you can make it longer) to avoid having to pull the pump, as long as the centralizers don’t get in the way.
Gotcha.
About as close as you can get is a windmill and a tower tank.
Not in my neck of the woods.
No wind or too deep?
Report it?! Hell no. If I see any such sabotage in progress, I’ll be executing rule .308 on the spot, no questions asked.
Oh, and just a Friendly reminder, the federal troops will fire on civilians.
And vice versa
Interesting theory, and quite plausible.
Thanks for your input.
And the optimum time to initiate the attack is during the coldest part of the winter. Probably after a big snow storm that has roads blocked. People wont even be able to get to town to get gas for a generator.
It would also make it harder for the power companies to search the mainlines to find the problems.
They will also probably sabotage natural gas lines. So there will be millions of people stuck in their houses without water, power, or heat of any kind for weeks. And it would be right in the middle of winter.
People will abandon their homes and set out on foot to find shelter. They will congregate in shelter areas. That is when they will cut the towns communications with the outside world and attack those shelters. The people will be helpless
That is why I am very worried about this coming winter. It is suppose to be a hard one. We dont have natural gas through this area. And in the country side we are use to week long outages in winter with impassible roads during winter. That is why its just habit to keep a month of food and supplies on hand. I also have a supply of good water besides city water. So it would not bother me much. But the people in the cities suburbs are the people that is going to be in a world of hurt.
That would be a long rope.
When the Ghostbusters didn't cross the streams..

Mr. sneakers has raspberry cordial fermenting now. Well, ‘fermenting’ isn’t the right word. It’s very good. A bottle lasts months for us. It might be good for bartering!
fear for any whites or asians living near the inner city....my own dtr lives in a big city....
water is a problem...we have a well that is not connected and it'll take a special pump etc to get it going and the water ain't great...we have county water but will that be available?..
probably enough food for a while....can hook up the generator to run the freezers a few hrs a day to keep them going for a month or two...
cash?...no....
I buy alcohol and olives almost every single time I go to the commissary.....might as well live it up...
