When I was a kid we had a hand pump outside. Sometimes we’d have to prime it so we always kept a bucket of water for that purpose. Now about the only place you see those pumps is as a decorator item in someone’s flower bed. Plus, the water table has fallen so far the pipes are probably not deep enough.
The other solution is to keep a 55 gallon barrel catching rainwater off the roof and hope it rains before I run out.
Remember that the Grid-Ex drill is happening Nov. 13th & 14th.
We’ve completed our final preps. All group members know what actions to take when the event starts.
