Hood, whose contributor Charles Blow once used “assault handgun” in a debate with yours truly on 2A, and whose 9 pm eastern host thinks AR stands for “assault rifle” wasn’t talking about the MKA 1919. Just because the sheer style is similar, the platform is not.

OK ... so there's no such thing as a shotgun assault rifle ... cause they're completely different animals ... this is just a minor detail ... and it should therefore in no way detract from you believing everything else we grind out ... and you should never question our competence or standards of excellence!
After one reporter makes a stupid mistake other reporters reporters repeat it over and over again, like the repeated stories about U.S. Navy battleships armed with ballistic missiles off the coast of Syria.

I saw a news report that showed an Iowa class battleship (from around the 1st gulf war) launching missiles and the reporter was acting like it was new video. Pretty bad. Can't wait to see the D-Day armada landing on the Syrian beaches and getting fierce opposition from the Germans.
