Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin says that union members across America should demand that Obamacare be repealed and defunded, and some of their leaders should resign for not opposing the health care law.
"Union brothers and sisters, dont let your incompetent leadership hoodwink you again," Palin wrote in a Facebook post Thursday. "Demand a full repeal, an immediate defunding, and some resignations."
Palin, who has in the past criticized union bosses for betraying their hard-working members, said this was another instance of that, as they believed President Barack Obama's false promises on Obamacare and are supporting carve-outs instead of a full repeal.
"Remember when President Obama promised us, 'If you like your current health care plan, you can keep your plan?'" Palin wrote. "That was not true, and his deceptive claim falls in line with all the other lies about Obamacarelike thered be no health care rationing."
Her remarks come as union leaders at the AFL-CIO convention this week said the law should be repealed if unionslike big business and Congressdid not get special exemptions and carve-outs in the law. "Union bosses, you owe your membership an apology, retraction, and resignation," she declared.
Palin wrote that "union leaders are now scrambling and trying to get special carve-outs exclusively for union members. I sympathize with union membersespecially when theyre led by thugs. I always do. But this is the wrong way to go about fixing the enormous train wreck that is Obamacare."

Aw, there she goes again: being intelligent and rational.
As usual, Sarah speaks the truth.
Union leaders are just RAT party operatives. They lied to their workers to get them to vote for Obama. They knew what Ocare was all along.
I hope there is a huge spike in the numbers at the peition website. It is now at 1,313,890.
Woops! Correction: “Petition”..need more coffee.
Good on you Sarah. This issue may be a way for conservatives to begin connecting with union members. They are more like us than they think.
Trouble is many union members are absolute zombies. They repeat their bosses’ lies like automatons.
Why is it... Every time Sarah makes a statement on something, she NAILS it. She bats 1000.
Yet so many folks doesn’t think she’s qualified for POTUS.
This, ESPECIALLY in light of our current... ummm, potus... Who gets it wrong EVERY time. He and his whole ilk.
Hopefully many will return to being Americans.........
Will history repeat itself ?
A Conservative Union Guy from Michigan on Fox News today noted the downstream UAW guys who's employers supply them health care in a multi-employer pool will be dumping their members into the Exchanges. IMHO that will go over like breaking wind in Church.
I don't see any upside for Obama with any of this, in fact to the rank and file bolt or stay home in 14'...
Not really. She should have told the union members to quit their corrupt unions. Stop bankrolling the thugs at the top and the problem goes away.
“Yet so many folks doesnt think shes qualified for POTUS.”
She may be qualified, but that doesn’t mean that she has a snowball’s chance in Hell of winning the office. She’s chosen a different path in politics and she’s good at it. BTW when is that last time this country elected a president who was not already holding public office?
“BTW when is that last time this country elected a president who was not already holding public office?”
Is this a serious question?
Because it’s really too easy.
1980 Ronald Reagan, out of office since 1975
“1980 Ronald Reagan, out of office since 1975”
Thanks for answering my question!
