The Legislative District 26 Republican Party in Arizona has passed a formal rebuke of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) for abdicating GOP principles in helping Senate Majority Leader Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) secure votes to approve several of President Barack Obamas controversial nominees. Senator John McCain unilaterally negotiated with the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to secure Republican votes necessary to pass a number of controversial Presidential nominees, the resolution, which passed the official GOP body in the state by a 24-13 vote with four abstentions on Tuesday evening, reads.
The resolution notes that President Obama nominated Gina McCarthy for head of the Environmental Protection Agency, an environmental bureaucrat who supports anti-job/consumer policies, Richard Corday to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFRB), an unaccountable, unconstitutional agency created by the Dodd-Frank legislation, and Thomas Perez as Labor Secretary who has a known record for abusing power as Marylands Labor Secretary, handing political appointments to Big-Labor bedfellows.
It argues that McCain provided the votes necessary for the confirmation of the above nominees, and his deal was nothing more than capitulation to the Senate Majority Leader, giving him everything he asked for.
Senator McCain claims in defense of his actions, that they were taken to prevent the Senate Majority Leader from going nuclear and illegally breaking the Senate rules to pass these nominees, the GOP resolution states, adding that McCains activity contradicted GOP principles and the position of Legislative District 26 Republicans is that senators should call the Senate Majority Leaders bluff and force him to get the votes necessary from members of his own party.
The resolution says that given those facts, McCain must cease deal-making and negotiations for Republican votes that undermine the Senate Republican Leader.

Matt Papke, the third vice chair of the body, told Breitbart News that McCain is the poster child for term limits.
His back room dealings, insatiable war drum, and eroding base call to question why this man is our Senator, Papke, who is also a candidate for Tempe, AZ, City Council, said in an email. "It is my hope that Senators McCain and Flake work to reestablish their relationships with the boots on the ground members of Legislative District 26 Republicans."
This latest rebuke comes on the heels of the Maricopa County GOP blistering McCain in recent web literature, and his increased distance from Republicans in the state, including the House GOP delegation, as Breitbart News has reported.
Don't issue a Rebuke, issue a RECALL!
Recalls of federal elected officials are not constitutional, if I recall correctly. State constitutions permitting recalls can only recall state officials.
There is no recall mentioned in the US constitution....only impeachment and removal.
And we know how far that will get.
I would favor an amendment adding recall to the US constitution.
Seriously.
The people of Arizona owe it to the rest of the country to recall McCain. They need to get to work on this NOW!
McCain has obviously drank gallons of the Koolaid
There is plenty to impeach him on. No need for a recall. His aiding and abetting our enemies AQ in the Middle East is grounds for impeachment IMHO. Impeach Obama and McCain and any other politician in on this activity. Enough!
It doesn’t go anywhere because it can’t. But the people have had it. They know the elections are fixed, the big arm of the establishment swings in to protect the McCain types. But they will not be deterred. They are going to let these politicians know exacty what they think of them, and thus destroy their credibility and encourage ridicule.
And McCain is one who DOES NOT like to be ridiculed. He goes apoplectic. He wants so much to be a powerbroker in Washington but he is more and more on the sidelines and on the wrong or losing side of issues. War with Syria, Gun Control, Immigration, Campaign Finance, etc. He will, more and more be seen to be a crazy old man, which will make him even more crazy.
He is a man who shouild be removed from a position of power and influence, but since that can be done, his influence can be diminished so other senators are discouraged from associating with him. And also, his minions beginning with Graham should be removed so he’s further isolated.
I agree with you, but I think it will never happen.
John McCain. Biggest whore in the Senate.
You are correct, but you're being a spoilsport. The day won't be complete without somebody ragging me for not personally recalling McQueeg.
The easiest way to start this, would be to being all your vegetables from your frig’, that are a little old, and shower him with them, at the next town hall meeting!
People standing up and talking into a microphone have no effect with this moron. He’s already clicked off his ears, and you can see it in the videos, plain as day. Everybody scream at him, and pelt him with produce, makes a better image, gets his poor suit dirty, and will bring out his senility for the camera.
Amen! Jihad Johnny has got to go!
We get pretty ticked off when Dems violate the constitution. But it’s OK when we do it?
How are we violating the Constitution?
There is no provision to recall a sitting Senator (or Representative) in the Constitution. To attempt to recall one would therefore be a violation. Violating the Constitution is something we decry when the Rats do it, but apparently some of us reserve the right to violate it ourselves.
McCain was the only Republican in the Keating five too. No jail time for him. Just “poor judgement”.
