Pack your bags! Colorado senators ousted for anti-gun laws

The people of Colorado have spoken. In the state’s first ever recall election, voters successfully recalled senators John Morse and Angela Giron over their support of anti-liberty gun control legislation passed earlier in the year, sending a message that the destruction of freedom will not be tolerated – in the state of Colorado.

Morse lost by less than 400 votes in his hotly-contested district of Colorado Springs. Giron lost by several thousand in Pueblo. Democrats will still maintain control of the state legislature, although the state’s Democratic governor might be next on the list of politicians to recall.

Coloradans fought Bloomberg’s well-funded Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) and successfully collected the signatures required to hold a recall vote against Senators John Morse of Colorado Springs and Angela Giron of Pueblo . A total of 12,648 signatures were collected for Giron and 10,137 were collected for Morse. Together, almost 23,000 residents felt strongly enough about the issue of guns to sign the petition.

Sometimes it becomes necessary to remind the public servants that they are only public servants and that they work for US. We pay their salaries.

Governor Chickenpooper has decided to tax rural Colorado to the tune of $2B. I think he has some sort of delusions of grandeur. I think Colorado should succeed form Dirty Denver.

They could succeed but first they need to secede.

Incumbency requires deals with special interests, not the general interest. Re-election is the source of corruption in our entire system.

All this vote has proved is that so many people hate gun control that the standard Democrat vote theft methods don't work.

This is not a watershed moment. No laws were repealed. The balance in Colorado of traitors to patriots has shifted, a small jot, and not enough to change anything. We are no more free than we we last week, last month or last year.

Everyone KNOWS what the solution is. It's just a matter of overcoming the gag reflex...

If at first you don’t secede, try, try again.

Baby steps. It took liberals 100 years (1913) to get to this point. We are not going to turn it around in one election cycle or even probably in our generation. Keep your eyes on the prize and never, never take them off it. Fight all the time not just when it is convenient. Celebrate the victories as do our enemies but remember it is a marathon not a sprint to victory. We live in microwave times but this fight goes to the old time oven.

I have an ancestor named Charles Martel. He fought the muslems in Europe and beat them 16 out of 17 times. He is credited to saving Europe form the muslems over a millennia ago.
