McCain: Syrian rebels feel ‘abandoned’

Sen. John McCain (R-Ari.) said Wednesday that the rebels engaged in a civil war with Syrian president Bashar Assad feel “abandoned” by President Obama.

“I was very disappointed that the president did not mention the Free Syrian Army and our moral and material assistance for them, which is required,” McCain said on MSNBC’s "Morning Joe." “I think they do feel that they’re being abandoned.”

“I feel badly, very badly for my friends in the Free Syrian Army today,” he added.

In his Tuesday night prime time address, Obama asked Congress to put on hold resolutions to authorize a military strike to take out Assad’s chemical weapons arsenal while the administration seeks a peaceful solution to the crisis through the United Nations.

McCain said that while the diplomatic route might work, it wouldn’t come fast enough for the Syrian rebels because Assad began his bombing campaign against them as soon as it became clear that Congress would not act.

“There’s nothing that will drive Syrians more into the hands of the extremists than to feel that they have been abandoned by the West, and that impression I’m sure has been made on them today,” McCain said.

Not everyone in McCain’s party has such high regard for the rebel forces. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said the groups opposing Assad could not be trusted because they’re affiliated with al Qaeda and other terror networks, and had committed atrocities of their own, including the slaughter of Christians.

Unfortunately, in this era of madness, Treason has become “protected political free speech.” Not much we can do about it.

> I have never liked him, but I have never before questioned his patriotism.

Now, however, I am now comfortable stating that Senator John McCain is a traitor to the United States of America.

What I think is happening is that 0 is probably paying off senators or blackmailing them to get them in line to deconstruct America. The amounts must be horrendously high to make them abandon and destroy this once great nation.

McClain received a whole lot of whup-ass when he was a POW in North Vietnam, could that be a factor in his desire to mete out whup-ass to others?

John McCain should take his fortune and go join the SFA since he feels so strongly about this.

As if Al Qaeda needs an excuse to hate us. So I guess the liberal media will be telling us how it’s all our fault that the Al Qaeda backed rebels are dying and that is the reason they all hate America.

Big, bad, evil America. /s

There’s nothing keeping him in his nice air conditioned office. If he’s so concerned, he should be fighting along side them.

McCain: Syrian rebels feel ‘abandoned’

Don't worry, John. You are there for Al Qaeda, and can give them a big, comforting hug.

Will someone please give McCain a towel to cry on?

McCain: Syrian rebels feel ‘abandoned’
****************************************
McCain, go ask the 4 Americans that were savagely murdered in Benghazi if they felt abandoned....oh wait, you can’t. No doubt they were probably murdered by someone from the rebels camp. Funny how our president will not go after the murders that killed 4 Americans but wants Americans to load up and go fight for Syrians that are killing Syrians.

McCain, quit rebel rousing for the Muslims! You have been elected to be looking out for America’s best interest.

“the rebels engaged in a civil war with Syrian president Bashar Assad feel “abandoned” by President Obama.”

It does not seem to be hampering their efforts to kill christians and disembowell small children.

Great Question...and within lies the issue. These people in DC (such as McLame) assume they own the world and can play with nations to their own regard. When reality hits and they’re proved to be virtually powerless, you get McLame’s muttering inanities. Same thing with “global warming”. I mean...how arrogant do you have to be to really believe that when you fart the world gets warmer.

There is an open season for terrorists in Syria coming as soon as media is slowly losing interest.
Here is a video of Russians raiding a Chechen town famous for being a hub for a slave trade.
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ENA__SVCclE
It happened shortly after 9/11. The whole Muslim population of this town aged 16-60 was allegedly executed as their slaves were released and not a word from the press.
They have repeated it in Dagestan shortly after Boston bombing killing Muslims en-masse just recently and none ever mentioned.
I guess it is now another time for Russians to screw muzzies and Syrian rebels are thrilled.
