UPDATE: Shellie Zimmerman Admits There Was No Gun During Altercation With Husband September 10 2013 by Dan Cannon
Yesterday, we, along with the every other website in the world, reported that George Zimmerman was being questioned by police over a potential domestic disturbance with his estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman.
During initial reports, Shellies comments to a 911 operator were widely publicized in which she said Zimmerman was making threats while having his hand on a firearm.
Police did not recover a firearm during the incident, and both Shellie and her father (who was allegedly hit by George Zimmerman) declined to press charges.
George Zimmerman was released without incident.
Now, it seems that Shellie Zimmerman is backtracking on her story that a gun was involved in the incident at all.
According to USA Today,
Deputy Police Chief Colin Morgan said officers did not recover a gun, and Bracknell said Shellie Zimmerman later dropped her claim that a gun was involved.
Domestic violence cant be invoked because she has changed her story and says she didnt see a firearm, Bracknell said.
The dispute was between him and his wife and her father, Morgan said. There were some allegations that there had been an assault, but we could not confirm any of it.
So it sounds like reports that Zimmerman was going to be back in the public eye over an issue with a gun were unfounded.
Still...
Gotta ask y’all to look at George’s position. Given his “notoriety”, he may be doing his level-best to keep the whole thing low and out of the media. He knows that his wife and her kin make headlines daily. Cut George some slack here, too.
Cletus would not be one to look get my name in headlines, iffin I could he’p it.
Lake Mary police press conference LIVE:
You think this is the first phoney “he has a gun” call the cops had ever recieved?
It wasn’t their first rodeo; sounds like they approached with caution, searched him out, and lo and behold, no gun to be found anywhere.
She was pissed about the other woman in the truck, and was going to make George pay. Plus she wants whatever she can get out of the divorce.
I’m totally willing to cut him slack. I wish he’d go to Texas (not Central or South America!) and rebuild his life.
It is time for George Zimmerman to cut all ties with his previous life and change his name to something obscure. I imagine “Carlos Danger” would be a whole lot safer than a George Zimmerman who gets hundreds of death threats per day and has a soon-to-be ex-wife who is rapidly getting angrier over the changes that she blames on him.
Carlos: It’s time for you to disappear!
What feminists think is that they’ll be exempt from “the laws of the jungle” because Uncle Sugar will be there to protect them.
Most women find the details of Castle Rock v. Gonzales (2005) to be absolutely shocking... so much so that they miss the significance of the case until I explain it to them very slowly: Even if you have a restraining order, even if you had a court tell someone to stay away from you, you have NO expectation that the police will or can be made to come to your aid.
Then you see a huge, crushing realization descend upon them, like one of those big rocks in a Monty Python cartoon. Uncle Sugar’s promises were like those of so many sugar daddies, as I like to explain thusly:
“He who has the gold makes the rules, and Uncle Sugar can not only have his way with you, sweetie, he can make you sleep in the wet spot afterwards too.”
He didn't expect her at all. According to an article published earlier today, Zimmerman was at the house to gather some of his possessions. His soon-to-be-ex-wife showed up unannounced.
It's looking more and more like SHE started the confrontation.
Jail the psycho-bitch.
Yep. I’m moving out of my 2-BR apartment in Midland next week. It is ion “move-in condition”. All George has to do is contact me by FReepmail.
That might have been what she was intending -- then all the money from the civil suits would be hers instead of the nothing that she can expect after the divorce. With this action of hers she has definitely put his life more at risk and that may have been by design.
It’s not the truth that matters, it’s the seriousness of the original charge.
And that’s what the headline reading low info people will take from this incident.
I heard it on Fox News yesterday.
That aounds about right, actually.
*sounds*
Its too bad the Christian churches have surrendered to feminism and turned all the women in them into entitled princesses who can do no wrong.
I hope he’s here but, somehow, I doubt it. A hunted animal has no time to read.
She doesn’t know how to report on anything but this crap. Wouldn’t want to mention BENGHAZI or any other scandal involving little king dingle-berrie.
Like I said before, it was a divorce situation, lacking in credible testimony/evidence. But the rhetorical lynch went wild anyway. It’s part of the newer fascism.
Watch for her appearance on The View, complete with big pink boxes of Puffs; the tissue the teary eyed.
