Obama embarrassing America over Syrian mess
Small Government Times ^ | 2013-08-31 | Steve Adcock

It is not amusing any more. Obama’s handling of the Syrian conflict has proven once again the grave mistake Americans made by re-electing Barack Obama into the White House, a man as gutless as a balloon full of hot air, as utterly ineffectual as an ant in combat with a scorpion. It’s one thing to show your ineptitude behind closed doors. But here, the entire world is watching – and laughing.

For days, Obama has threatened an imminent (albeit limited) attack on Syria, careful to allow Syrian authorities enough time to change their dinner plans. But now, Obama has apparently changed his mind and will request authorization from Congress once they return to Washington in a week. Guess the use of chemical weapons isn’t THAT bad.

This, after Obama has repeatedly stated that he does not need Congressional authorization for anything, threatening he – and he alone – can effectively do whatever he wants without consent from Congress or the American people. Obama believes there are no limits to his presidential power.

I’m not laughing. The dirty @@@@@*****###$### could still start throwing bombs and missiles around any minute, and there’s no way to stop him—short of a congressional impeachment that will never happen, no matter WHAT he does.

That doesn't say much for the idiots that re-elected him does it?

The democratic party will rue the day they ever allowed Barack Hussein Obama II on the ballot in all 50 states in 2008 and did not step in when he stole the primary elections in the caucus states where ACORN bussed inall those out-of-staters.

You are right. It has been a bit amusing, to see many posters give examples of what that clown could get away with, and they are all right too.

Prov. 27:3 A stone is heavy and sand, a burden, but aggravation from a fool outweighs them both.

Prov. 28:9 Anyone who turns his ear away from hearing the law— even his prayer is detestable.

Prov. 29:2 When the righteous flourish, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, people groan.

Prov. 29:20 Do you see a man who speaks too soon? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Prov. 29:22 An angry man stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered man increases rebellion.

No.

America has embarrassed herself by electing this butthole twice, as well as all of the demonrats and republic**ts who assist him.

She has brought this on herself, and it’s likely going to get much, much worse.

It’s the perfect way for him to save face once again. He makes a fool out of himself, all of sudden has to go to a Republican controlled congress, and then he has THEM to blame in either case if they authorize force or not.

All the liberal sheep say “BAAAAAA! He prevented a war in Syria!”

Not laughing either. He asserted that he had the authority to act with or without congress consent. The American people decided they wanted this guy to have his finger on the button. They launched the arrow by electing him and now have no control over what the arrow does. He could start WWIII in the next ten minutes and there is no one to stop him. Elections have consequences. Sometimes it proves to be a fatal mistake.

the only bright side to the upcoming catastrophe will be seeing the look on the faces of the welfare crowd when their snap cards stop working.

I didn’t and still don’t think he needs Congressional approval. Reagan didn’t get it before intervening in Grenada. The difference is Reagan actually knew what he was doing and had a plan. If Obama had a plan, he would have strategically bombed the very day after Assad launched the chemical attack. And if he wanted congressional approval just to cover his ass, he should have gotten it months ago when he first opened his mouth about “red-lines.” Instead, this constant dithering and back-and-forth is making the US look feckless and unserious. US influence re. Iran is dead if we do nothing...and it’s dead if we do a pin-prick strike. No-win situation.

The differences are legion: there was aggression in Grenada, which is in our hemisphere. That’s our house.

There were Americans under threat from the Cubans. It was as much a rescue mission as an intervention.

I believe we were asked to intervene by their legitimate government. (Not 100% sure on that point.)

It was justified under the WPA.

Feckless, flaccid, limp, neutered...

This Capon-Clown president is one of the most degenerate losers to every occupy the White House.

Those who voted for this every-level-failure of a human being should publicly beg for forgiveness for their stupidity and ignorance.

nobama embarrasses him self by not resigning and then turning him self into prison.
