Time for a Christian exodus from a failed Republican Party
World Tribune ^ | August 23, 2013 | Grace Vuoto

It is time for Christians, and those of other faiths who value this nation’s unique character, to leave the Republican Party and start their very own political organization.

For decades, the Christian alliance with the GOP has failed to roll back or even mildly halt the relentless advance of liberalism. We have lost the culture, lost the traditional underpinnings of the nation and no longer have a national character we can take pride in. The Republican Party is useless for all those who are serious about upholding traditional Judeo-Christian morality.

Yes lets all leave and have NO voice what so ever. Much better. I will keep voting for the best candidate, note best is a VARIABLE VALUE. If you have a choice between a Cold, Flue and Brain Cancer the COLD is BEST to have

In 2000 the GOP ran a man for POTUS who went before this nation and stated he and Mr Gore were not that far apart on most issues. That man in eight years with the help of the likes of RINO's in key congressional positions he helped put in office over Conservatives paved the way for the abuses of Obama. Among the worse? Lamar Alexander.

Thanks to the My Party Tis Of Thee Roveite voters the Democratic Party has each election taken both the GOP and this nation further and further left beginning withe the beloved of RINO's Poppy Bush from which the GOP-E has had control since 1989. Think about it. Ever since 1989 the Bush Liberal Elitist have been working hand and hand with the DEMS. The last GOP POTUS who would even listen to the Christian Conservatives was Reagan. He not only listened he took in advisers from same.

The GOP has come down to this the words spoken to GW Bush at the 2000 GOP Convention I think it was. Ford said about the Christian Conservatives and all Conservatives "Where else can they go". That arrogance must end. You make be their loyal no matter how hard you beat me I'll still love you GOP Loyalist but many more have opened their eyes and are fixing to walk out.

Christians have been calling for parents to remove their children from public schools for years with no results. I doubt that Christians will bother to analyze their positions in politics as well. Personally, I have left the Republican party since the McCain debacle.

It doesn’t make much difference if Democrats or RINO’s are elected, it’s the same difference to conservative Christians, we will have no voice.

The reason we get liberal republicans is open primaries and cheating/attacks by the GOP-E on conservatives. Florida voted early in the primary. They should have lost 1/2 of their delegats, according to the rules. GOP-E cheats again.

Why doesn't the GOP want to close their primaries?

And why do you think the voters are nominating/electing those RINOs instead of Conservatives?

That doesn’t change the fact that AMERICANS have moved to the left, open primary or not.

Most of that is the media and the schools that have miseducated the people in this country into sheeple

If you can’t control the Republican party, you sure are not going to control the US.

This kind of article is written to reduce support for Republicans.

Sure they are not perfect. Are you willing to have two more years of Dems in charge of Senate, House and President too?

Divided government doesn’t make much progress. Undivided government, controlled by evil people will make progress that you don’t like.

Can you point out any success other than the thousand candidates TEA elected in 2010? We are making progress. It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen. Cruz, Paul, Lee, etc. are the proof.
Too few? Yes! Let us join together to elect more!

We are a small minority, we are going to be oppressed and we are going to be suppressed, this has already been foretold.

The GOP hates Conservatives. They run against us in primaries, and campaign against us (in the press) in general elections.

Conservatives must run against the GOP, the MSM, the DNC, Hollywood, and Academia!

With ZERO help from our Party, who are instead trying to marginalize us.

Can we not take the hint?

Nope, no sale. I will not support the liberal republican party. I will vote for conservatives whichever party they are.

Get over it. The GOP is dying. And that's a good thing. Don't try to drag it out.

The GOP is reducing support for Republicans with their actions, their attacks on conservatives, and their liberalism.

They need to own that.

And then who is the loser? So you’re not going to vote for a party because someone in it ‘mocks’ you? I’d say it was time for you to grow up !

No, I won't vote for a party because they are liberal.

I was just pointing out that mocking the people who's votes you need is just sack-full-o-hammers stupid.

That's why so many GOP supporters here on FR do it.

The GOP actually began as a Third Party {and a Liberal one at that}. Perhaps it's time for it to die off politically and be replaced in the same manner it began by a Conservative Party. That would at least give us two functional opposing parties once again. Oh and I'm not a fan of bipartisanship. It would tickle me to death is congress got into good old fashioned fist fights. Then we'd see just how loyal to their beliefs some actually are for a change.
