Time for a Christian exodus from a failed Republican Party

It is time for Christians, and those of other faiths who value this nation’s unique character, to leave the Republican Party and start their very own political organization.

For decades, the Christian alliance with the GOP has failed to roll back or even mildly halt the relentless advance of liberalism. We have lost the culture, lost the traditional underpinnings of the nation and no longer have a national character we can take pride in. The Republican Party is useless for all those who are serious about upholding traditional Judeo-Christian morality.

You went through a lot of trouble to post this, but I'm not sure why.

You point out the progressive past of the GOP, well, yes, the GOP's stands on women's and civil rights were progressive for their day, but it wasn't the pandering we get from the Dem's now.

On the Bushes, we'll agree to disagree, but only by degree. They weren't as far to the right as I would have preferred either, and their "reaching across the aisle" hurt us more than helped.

We can keep talking about closing the primaries (they are closed in my state) all we want, but the fact is AMERICANS have moved to the left. Posting another full page response won't refute that. This GOPe entity everyone is howling about didn't cause this, but if anything was a result of it.

I'm aware of the RINOs currently serving as Republicans, but the bottom line is they were ELECTED. Attacking the GOPe entity because Americans have moved to the left and apply that view to their voting choices is taking the easy way out.

Precisely the point...of course they were nominated by Republican voters who do not like the Conservative cause. So why be in the same Party?

You're right. Instead of trying to win Americans over to our point of view, let's just take our votes away from Conservatives like Cruz, Haley, and Bachmann, and go to one of the also rans. We can preach Conservative values to each other in our closed forums while the rest of the country swings left. We'll have America voting for Conservatives in no time.

Just like we did in 1992.
