By now, youve definitely heard about the Burrit0bot pretty much the most awesome 3D printer in the world. It lets you make burritos with your iPhone. (If you hadnt heard about this till now, go ahead and collect your brain pieces from the floor.) Burrit0bot is, very sadly, still a prototype designed by an NYU grad student named Marko Manriquez for his thesis project. Meaning that it hasnt been made yet.
So to appease your disappointment we decided to round up all of the grub that already can be made by robots. To follow, your futuristic food porn...

With fast food workers demanding $15 an hour I can see these taking hold real fast. A resturant that employed 80 will now run needing only 8.
Those are (oil)boom town prices, boom town wages, and jacking up the wages elsewhere will only see increases in rent and other costs for the worker as the rest of the labor force clamors for raises. Without something far better paying to drive that (oilfield jobs), it would not fly.
The restaurant which could deliver a good (if somewhat mechanized) burger for less would win.

These robots will free up more people to sweep the floors. That is, until the restaurants buy robot sweepers.
