The June JOLTS report, the job openings measure, was expected to print at 3,895,000. It printed at 3,936,000 after a revised print in May of 3,907,000. We are back to the recession job openings level of 2008, but going up instead of down.

That is the highest level in 5 years!
Now for the bad news. Bill Gross at PIMCO thinks that the JOLTS print does not equate to 200,000 jobs. More like 125,000.

From Zero Hedge, we get this charming chart.
JOLTS June 3
If we look at The House Ways and Means study on job creation since January 2009, we can see that the job creation is mostly part-time.

It is difficult to get a housing recovery driven by growth in part-time employment. That is why President Obama is pushing mortgage credit expansion (but in an actuarially sound manner). That is code for more low down payment lending outside of FHA.
Lenders are already wary of low down payment loans for credit scores less than 680. What will the President suggest that is different?

Obamanomics rule #23: Employment will double with every full-time job replaced by two part-time jobs.

Home ownership = disproportionate break toward conservatism.
Don't buy a word. The only homeownership program Obama is interested in is one which keeps the occupant relying on a government program each month in order to remind the occupant of the home just by who's measure their home is available to them.

Loan the money anyway or I'll smack you around on my National Vilification Tour. And if that doesn't work, I'll grant Elizabeth Warren's request for public televised floggings in Yankee Stadium.

Global warming AKA climate change, will cause the earth to spin faster in a warmer less dense atmosphere (less drag coefficient) and as such will cause the day/night cycle to accellerate. By 2025 a day will become 8 hours as will the night. So now a full-time job will be one of 5 hour shifts instead of 8 hours.
It's really all very simple. No sense in getting all wee-wee'd up over phony scandals. Go to the back of the bus and eat your peas.
