I appreciate the effort, but trying to distinguish between the DREAM Act, which is a stalking horse for amnesty, and amnesty itself is pointless.
Trey, don’t dissappoint us as so many others have.
Just say NO TO AMNESTY, in ALL of its forms (including the Dream Act BS).
Once again, it proves that you cannot trust ANY politician. And before anybody calls Sarah Palin a politician, she is NOT a politician.
A politician holds onto power no matter what. A politician puts office before family. A politician tailors their speech to whatever audience they are speaking.
None of these political traits are found in her.
And to the NSA trolls, FU.

It's less frustrating that way.
It wasn’t exactly a high point of integrity when she endorsed McCain and Hatch for re-election. It’s hard to see those endorsements as putting he country first.
Whoever is in office has to be watched closely.

Palin’s not perfect. No politician or human is.
But she’s firmed up on immigration and there aren’t too many issues I can think of to disagree with her.
(And yes, McCain and Hatch were two big blunders!)
DREAM Act PING
I can think of little less compelling than the ‘dreamers’ argument. American parents take there children overseas legally, often raising them there, while the parents work for companies or NGO’s, churches or government, but somehow it isn’t a major civil rights abuse that the country the parents have taken them to doesn’t grant them citizenship! In fact, it’s no abuse at all. And no, the children don’t earn some lifelong right to stay in said country while again, they’ve been there legally.
What possibly is the rationale for the US to grant legality and citizenship to children who have been brought here illegally?
None! Absolutely none!
