School administrations continue to hang posters in cafeterias trying to convince students that what is being fed to them is "fun food" which is healthier for them than the foods they enjoy eating. Meanwhile schools are having to purchase more garbage cans to contain the Michelle mandated foods that kids are dumping, some preferring to go hungry rather than eat "required" foods. Students just throw away the food being forced on them by the US Government.

When Moochelle gets pissed off, maybe there will be no food available for awhile (blame it on the nasty Republicans and sequester) then let them lick out the garbage cans like the German people had to after May 8, 1945.

Already here. Remember the case a few months back where a state food inspector took away a six year old’s nice home packed lunch and made the child eat Mrs Obama Food. In addition the Inspector told the child that her Mom was a “Bad Mother”.

I know someone that worked a middle school cafeteria 5 yrs. ago.
The waste then was criminal.
Once a carton of milk was placed on a tray, it was either drunk or to the garbage.
Most of the fresh fruit was tossed.
I asked once why the perfectly good excess food couldn’t be donated to a food bank, homeless shelter, etc.
Can’t do that. Legal liability issues.
I can imagine how much worse it is today.
If the kids were hungry, they would eat the food. Obviously there is no reason for this government program.

Military schools aside, if schools actually taught the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers then students would know the following. They would know that Michelle Obama has no constitutional authority to tell school administors how to run their schools or tell students what to eat.
in Texas..left over food is sent to special dumpsters and bid on by farmers for livestock food...i.e. revenue for the school daily
Year 'Round schools.
Kids go 9 wks., off 3 wks, back to school 9 wks. and so on. No real summer break.
Kids are in 1 of 3 groups that are staggered. Supposed to be able to squeeze 400 kids in to a 300 pupil school. At any week 100 are on break. That's an example .
