Sara Palin is a gifted politician. Her love of country is as clear as a winter's day.
She could be a good president, maybe even a great one, depending on circumstances. She has all the attributes of a leader: she's personally charming, down-to-earth, she's attractive, but her writing drives me crazy!

Do liberals see the hypocrisy revealed from using the word "love" and "but" in the same sentence?
I enjoy Sarah Palin’s speech and text. Palin speaks with a great deal of clarity leaving few doubts about her position. When I hear Palin, I have confidence I am hearing her thoughts and ideas. I would expect the same of her writings.
Sarah Palin is the real deal.
What the democrips, liberals, and establishment republicants turn that in to is their assertion that she's not brilliant enough, as if God is somehow weaker than a mind like sinkEmperor Clinton's or little barry drug-addled bastard boy.

Palin is the real deal because she is not an intellectual and does not attempt to appear one.

“Intellectual”, meaning the various mental capacities of voters: not “intellectualS”, per se. Get it? She needs them all. Words have meanings.

But when speaking - especially when it's not pre-’composed’ and read off a teleprompter - it's entirely different -
This piece about Sarah seems either a self-importance piece “see how intelligent I am” or a hit piece thinly disguised as “praise but” - meant to make people pay more attention to the phrasing than the content.

That facebook page about Kerry on the yacht sounds okay. Granted, it is a bit clumsy in spots - so probably didn’t go through two different speech writers and six policy wonks. But she makes good points. And scattered along the somewhat weaving path are gems:

I haven't paid any attention to her subordinate clauses, as I was too focused on the substance of her communications. Her voice does not bother me as I pay attention to her message, which has been very pertinent.
If writing skills were of primary importance to me, I would be rootin' for Krauthammer/Noonan or some other shallow, superficial pundit... Ugh!
