Sara Palin is a gifted politician. Her love of country is as clear as a winter's day.
She could be a good president, maybe even a great one, depending on circumstances. She has all the attributes of a leader: she's personally charming, down-to-earth, she's attractive, but her writing drives me crazy!
Every sentence she composes or utters in real-time is a convoluted mess of subordinate clauses. Every idea introduced gives way to a meandering aside, a parenthetical more

Very good comment. If she runs again, it’s vital for her to reach as many voters as she can; even those who have trouble following subordinate clauses. She does speak directly to the heart, and that’s her most important virtue.
WHAT?? YES YOU DID and just as the MSM did w/BO! If you can't keep it honest - go away. Everything else you post is null and void, flip flopper!
Exactly!!!

She has been bashed on FR for years. Jim had banished some for doing it.

There is a thought often spoken during that last sudden time of terminal clarity by some who were anything but clear or lucid prior: "Everything's alright" or "Everything's going to be alright."
I found that intriguing and followed the trail back to the Source. After that, I may get stirred now, but never shaken.
Yep, everything's going to be alright.
I have no interest in adding clicks to your website. Simply coaxing the unsuspecting to click on your website does not a reader, much less an interested one, make.
As far as your critic of Ms. Palin. I am more sympathetic to your cause that you may think. That being said. You are still only posting here to pimp your blog.
Read your own posts, you didn't hide it good enough.
Well, yes, that comment could be construed as rather harsh. But, I really don’t see anything wrong with the article.
I don’t know if the writer has a history of Sarah bashing, which, of course, would prejudice me. But, standing on its own, the article was complimentary of Sarah and offered advice on how she could express herself more directly to the electorate in her writings.
I see that as being of possible use to her; perhaps not now, but in the event she runs for office. If she does, she will be writing to the intelligent, and the less intelligent, voter. Every vote, and every voter, will count.
That was an immature comment, and it shows a lack of comprehension. You are the perfect example of a voter who needs to be told things in a direct manner, because h/she is incapable of reading anything above a fifth-grade level.
I realize that, and some of them were really ugly.
You are right... I remember one getting really classless.

Weak.
What is weak?

Don’t go trashing me now that you have been exposed!
Your ‘gig’ here is transparent and noted.
Are you delusional, as well? When that happens, there can be no appeal to intellect.
I’ve been on Free Republic for a long time. I love Sarah; I’ve always loved Sarah. People, here, know that.
Now, stop being a pest.
Lol.
This post is entertaining.
I know nothing about the past pronouncements of this author, but I do know the concept of damning with faint praise, and that's how the article reads to me.
No biggie, we can disagree. I have expressed she could do well to get some voice training in the past, much like Maggie Thatcher did. I see how some could be upset at her writing, but find most of those people a bit into nit picking, most of the time her writing comes off entirely well, communicates in a very deep way, plus she knows how to invent central phrases that communicate better than anything George Will ever wrote.
I think you're getting some push back from many of us who are simply sick of the nit picking, who are sick of our side trashing her.
I saw Breitbart just before he died, he said something like this: "Those in the GOP who didn't come to her aid while she was trashed by the media and liberals are eunuchs. Those who participated in the trashing from our side are animals with no soul."
I liked that, it communicated the truth perfectly.
PS - He admired her. A lot. And so should we.
Millions find Palin quite comprehensible. It could be you having comprehensive problems.
It makes people who are in the communications biz, like myself, shudder-people who would otherwise listen. Im happy to rewrite her, in real time, but Id have to be surgically implanted or have a direct wifi connection-like in Pacific Rim the new movie. But thats crazy talk.
Okay, I'll admit I have comprehensive troubles as well. While I understand Palin's speech quite easily, I have trouble with yours.
Discussing constructive advice and ways a prospective candidate can win an election is not “trashing”, nor is it “nitpicking”. Words have meanings, and we would do well to learn them.
The author wasn’t “damning with faint praise”. If you read his article, he prefaced it with great praise of Sarah and ended with the opinion that if she can express her written messages in a more direct manner to reach the intellectual level of the greatest number of voters, she could be President. Otherwise, he could not have been more complimentary.
It is an indisputable fact that some people’s brains shut down when they try to read a run-on sentence. The next President must win the votes of the literate and the not so literate. That is all he was saying. Her message must reach the greatest number of people.
I can understand how some people here are sensitive based on past flame wars, but that is no reason to assume that everyone who wants to discuss Sarah and her political delivery is coming out against her. If Sarah’s own “belly” were THAT soft, she wouldn’t stand a chance. So I think she would disagree with those of you who criticized the author. She strikes me as being a great listener. In most photos of her with voters, she is not speaking to them, but listening to them speak to her.
I agree with Brietbart’s comments, but I don’t think they have anything to do with this article.
I do admire Sarah, but not because I “should”. I admire her because she inspires me to admire her. To an honest heart, her truth-speaking and courage cannot be denied.
Enough said.
what are your feelins on belly button lint......idiot
