Foreign Policy: In the latest twist in our upside-down war on terror, President Obama withdraws troops fighting terrorists in Afghanistan and sends others to Egypt to protect a regime that supports terrorists.
According to reports, the commander-in-chief is deploying a riot-control unit from Fort Hood to Egypt to help the Islamofascist regime there repel its own citizens protesting increasing human-rights violations.
More than 400 Army soldiers from the Texas base will soon man posts throughout Egypt as part of a nine-month "peacekeeping mission." They've been trained to respond to threats, including protests and riots.
"Soldiers encountered Molotov cocktails and other dangerous items in the training," according to the local TV news station that broke the story out of Killeen, Texas.
The assignment comes ahead of a planned June 30 showdown between Islamists led by Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and secularists opposed to his Islamofascist crackdown.
As more and more Egyptians have called for toppling the regime on its first anniversary in power, U.S. Ambassador Anne Patterson has appealed for calm. "We oppose chaos," she pleaded with protesters. "Chaos is a breeding ground for instability."
Yes, better to protect radical strongmen like Morsi, a former Muslim Brotherhood leader whom the Obama administration helped bring to power. As we warned, Morsi has stacked Egypt's courts with mullahs and unleashed religious police enforcing austere Shariah law.
Under his burgeoning theocracy, the media and the arts have been censored, churches have been burned and women have been bullied into covering their heads and bodies with Islamic garb, a la Afghanistan.

More Jihad at Fort Hood; Obama sends troops to help Egypts Mursi
On November 5, 2009, a Jihadist inspired by the Muslim Brotherhood-inspired Anwar Al Awlaki murdered 14 and injured 32 on post at Fort Hood, TX. Today, 400 troops from Fort Hood are being sent to Egypt on a peacekeeping mission and what can only be described as an effort to help Muslim Brotherhood president Mohammed Mursi, who is currently persecuting protesters who object to Sharia law.The sick irony is that Mursis worldview matches that of the Fort Hood Jihadist Nidal Malik Hasan and Awlaki. By potentially aiding the Mursi regime, these 400 troops will essentially be defending the cause of the jihadist that gunned down their brothers in arms.
Gee, what could go wrong?
We’ve switched sides.
Hey, the House funds these ops. They can defund them too. But they really don’t do much of anything other than slap their partners in crime on the back a lot.
Is it just me or is this one of the top ten worst ideas ever?
Egypt risks sliding into civil war, the countrys leading religious authority warned Friday, as the nation braced itself for mass nationwide protests.
Organizers of June 30 demonstrations — which mark one year since Islamist President Mohammed Morsi’s election — claim they have the backing of an estimated 15 million Egyptians who want him to resign.
Only God knows what will happen [on Sunday], said Gamal Abdul Aziz, a pro-Morsi car mechanic in Madbaa, a blue-collar district in Cairo.
..We are sure that we will go out and get beaten up by the [Muslim] Brotherhood [but] we are going out despite this, he said. There is no security, there is economic collapse, the electricity cuts off and everybody is suffering. They will say Morsi is not at fault, but electricity didnt cut off when the military governed.
The only promise he’s kept is standing with his muzzy bros.
KT McFarland on Fox’ America Live today.
Good interview, but unfortunately she never mentioned anything about US troops as “peacekeepers,” let alone Fort Hood troops.
She did say that today Morsi/MB supporters fired on anti-Morsi/MB demonstrators. The biggest Cairo demonstration is expected Sunday.
Other points McFarland made:
1) Morsi/MB has totally mismanaged economy. Their economy has “flatlined”: No tourism to bring in foreign currency; no foreign investment; wealthy Egyptians are leaving; food shortages by end of year (Egypt is world’s largest importer of wheat)
2) Christians persecuted and killed (10% of population is Christian); churches burned. “I think you will see MORE of this.”
3) “You don’t want to be in the middle of someone else’s civil war.” “We are reaping what we sowed 2-3 years ago when we pulled the rug out from under the dictators, and what has taken their place for the most part is chaos.”
4) Egypt just arrested someone who was part of the “US government and the Pro-Democracy movement.”
5) She expects more chaos for the foreseeable future.
6) 3) Biggest unknown factor: What will the Egyptian army do? Who will they support?

Leave it to Obama to come up with a perverted, even sadistic, idea to “fix” the “problem”-— Let’s send 400 Ft Hood troops to Egypt to keep the “peace.”
Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.
obama, skerry and valerie must need some more dead Americans. Wonder if the 400 will be allowed to carry protection.
“Morsi has forged ties with Hamas and Hezbollah. Recently, he named as governor of Luxor a member of an Islamist group whose terrorists massacred 58 foreign tourists in the resort town in 1997.”
Hamas is a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. BTW, the governor resigned last Sunday - that they selected him in the first place speaks for itself. Kinda like the Obama Administration hiring Samantha Power after she called Hillary Clinton a “she devil” or she suggested the US should impose a solution in Palestine.
Thanks for posting what KT posted.
If Egypt goes full scale into violent Islamo control, that will make Libya and Syria look like dust storms compared to a series of E5 tornadoes.
Every OATH taking in the military man/woman should have followed Lt. Col. Terry Lakin’s patriotic example and case closed long time ago!!!
