Not to reduce the horror of this one iota, there have been other groups in my lifetime that have equaled and even surpassed the jihadist murders. Rwanda, Cambodia, Maoist China and Stalinist Russia come quickly to mind. While Rwanda was tribal warfare, the rest were inspired by the bastard child of Western Civilization — Marxism.
