Apparently mob life is inconsistent with family values.
Adele Sorella, the wife of reputed Rizzuto associate Giuseppe De Vito, has been convicted for the 2009 murders of their eight- and nine-year-old daughters in Montreal, QB Canada, and she was sentenced to life in prison as reported by Paul Cherry for The Gazette.
At the time of the murders Sorella's dirtbag husband was on the lam from drug charges. De Vito finally was apprehended in October 2010, and last June was sentenced to fifteen years in prison for his role in a cocaine smuggling operation through the Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport as then reported by Paul Cherry for The Gazette: "wiretaps revealed De Vito was furious . . . because the people who did the actual smuggling lied to the Mafia about how much they were importing to avoid a so-called tax the organization charged for 'a door' through the airport created by De Vito."
Neither Sorella nor De Vito attended the poor girls' funeral.
Is it my imagination or does it seem that there has been a resurgence in mafia/mob activity as of late?
There’s definitely been an uptick.
The FBI pretty much has abandoned targeting the Mafia as it chases down terrorists . . . in NYC there’s now only 25 agents to target about 700 made guys and 7,000 of their associates from the five families.
“I’d trust the Italian Mob to keep all the sleeper cell would-be terrorists in check than our insanely politically correct ruling class.”
The Italians better exist the heroin trade, then, if they don’t want to support terrorism.
[ because the people who did the actual smuggling lied to the Mafia ]
No honor amongst thieves, apparently.
“700 made guys and 7,000 of their associates from the five families.”
Geez, that’s a small army.
When you can convince a woman to kill her own children, then you can convince her to do anything.
I don’t get it. Why did she murder her daughters?
Actually, it’s a matter of keeping the terrorist cells (that the FedGov is aware of but allowed tthem o take root anyway) quiet and benign, rather in changing their business model.
