WHY the RUSH???

Comment at site may say it all: "Isn't Barack Obama subject to charges for all of these offenses? Maybe that's why the immigration bill is getting the ultra-fast track treatment; maybe evidence of his ineligibility is mounting toward levels which can no longer be ignored."

My exact thoughts also.

Democrats don’t mind crime. Their voter base sees nothing wrong with it if it benefits the party.

Really a coinkydink, isn’t it, that this new bill excuses document fraud claiming elibibiity for a job, within 24 hours of the whistle blower in the education field having microfilm showing Obummer attended school as a foreign student from Indonesia.

Here are other crimes that no Illegal Alien will wear a record for committing:

8 USC 1325 - Entering the United States without Inspection (first time is Federal Misdemeanor, second time Federal Felony)

26 USC § 7201 - Attempt to evade or defeat tax (most will be guilty of this unless they used false identity and taxes were withheld; in which case, not filing would be dependent on income level)

When will the Americans be amnestied for whatever bad things they have ever done?

Why are illegal aliens a privileged class, free to commit crimes without penalty or record?

What about the Equal Protection Clause of 14th Amendment of Constitution?

To waive for wetbacks, is to waive for all accused violators.

There are thousands of evil things in this Amnesty bill.

Another is that the illegals after they get Amnesty then they can bring in their extended family in from the 3rd world. So that ‘s 50 million more immigrants invading the USA. 99% of Americans have no idea what's in this bill as the news media and democrats intended. Call congress. stop the Amnesty bill

I guess businesses don't have to move their manufacturing or construction jobs overseas anymore.....they now will have cheap "American" labor, and the State-Run-Media will trumpet "job growth"..."economic turnaroud", etc. (even with REAL Un-employment at 15%+. The only ones with jobs will be low-paid Mexicans, and their EITC, Welfare, Food Stamps, and Obamacare will even be paid for BY OTHERS!

Viva La Dem Voters!

Amnesty on top of amnesty in this ‘RAT piggy bill. I’m not going to obey the part of the law that says Americans are going to be required to kiss the @$$ of one illegal alien each day and thank them for coming here to save America. They can throw me in jail. That’s just taking this fiasco too far.

I can't believe this crap. We couldn't deport the freeloaders because we'd be separating them from their families and now we have to bring their families here so they won't be separated from their families.

Americans can't win for losing. We've be Gangbanged. It will be a cold day in **** before I ever vote for a Republican again. The sooner this country collapses, the quicker we can get back to rebuilding it.

What laws will government allow me to break where I can later get a waiver?

Is there a government department I can write to and request a list?

So illegals enjoy superior rights than American Citizens. An American Citizen still goes to jail for SS fraud. Hmmmm....I remember when we had a Constitution, including some 14th Amendment thingy.

Oh well. Expedience!

Registered Provisional Immigrant (RPI) Status | US ...

“...if they are immediate relatives of US citizens or Green Card holders. Registered Provisional Immigrant (RPI) status will permit the immigrants to work in America”

Excerpted:

Ted Cruz Exposes the Amnesty Bill… $5000 Penalty for Hiring Citizens Over Legalized Aliens… SERIOUSLY!!!

We can’t possibly expect our Senators to read a 1200 page bill before voting on it. - Can we? - Well Thank God Ted Cruz read it. Not only did Cruz read it but he schooled anyone who would listen from the Senate floor on Tuesday. Cruz found a loophole that actually penalizes an employer $5000 for hiring a citizen over a legalized alien. Seriously. You can’t make this stuff up. Senator Cruz was quoted as saying:

“I filed an amendment that would have corrected one of the most egregious aspects of the gang of eight bill as it intersects with Obamacare legislation, namely a penalty imposed on U.S. employers for hiring U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents.

“This bill says if an employer hires a citizen or a legal immigrant, the IRS can impose a $5,000 penalty on that employer. But if the employer instead hires someone with RPI (Registered Provisional Immigrant) status, that penalty will go away. That is utterly and completely indefensible.”

“Nobody in this body wants to see African-American unemployment go up. Nobody wants to see Hispanic unemployment go up, youth unemployment go up, union household unemployment go up, legal immigrant unemployment go up.

“Yet every one of those will happen if this Gang of Eight bill passes without fixing this problem. If that happens, all 100 members of the U.S. Senate will be accountable to our constituents for explaining why we voted to put a federal penalty on hiring U.S. citizens and hiring legal immigrants. I hope this body will choose to pass my amendment and fix this grave defect in the Gang of Eight legislation.”

It would be very interesting to know whose hand was responsible for slipping this into the bill but it surely won’t be the only surprise that comes from a 1200 page bill that has not been scrutinized by the majority of those who voted to pass it.

For added fun, the Weekly Standard collared five of the Democrat senators who voted to cut off debate on the immigration bill, and asked for their take on the problem Cruz describes. None of them knew if the loophole had been addressed yet.

Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) babbled something incoherent that had nothing to do with the question; Tom Carper (D-DE) snarled that he was too busy to answer the question; and Max “Train Wreck” Baucus, the author of ObamaCare, mumbled: “We’re trying to solve that right now… I don’t know if that’s been solved.”
