Sarah Palin energized a group of social conservatives at the Faith and Freedom Coalitions Road to Majority Conference Saturday, blasting the Obama Administrations apparent lawlessness, calling the current state of America Orwellian, and urging the United States to stay out of Syrias chaotic and brutal civil war.
In comments to the Daily Caller, the 2008 candidate for vice president also declined to join many of her fellow Republicans in condemning National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, saying the real problem was the governments violation of Americans rights.
In her speech, Palin called the current political atmosphere, rife with scandals, a a symptom of a bigger disease, expressing outrage over the Internal Revenue Services targeting of conservative nonprofits.
You dont marginalize everyday, average Americans. Those, who are part of the Tea Party, that want to protect the constitution, said the former Alaska Governor. The IRS cant figure out how it spent $4 million dollars on a training conference because it lost its receipts really?
The 2008 GOP Vice-Presidential nominee said President Obama has lost the trust of the American people.
Like the other day, she said [Director of National Security Intelligence James Clapper] bragging that they used the least untruthful statement. Now, where I come from that is called a lie. Yes, the officials lied and government spied and in Benghazi government lied and Americans died.(continued)

Three good criteria. Not enough for a lot of people around here.
Don’t fall into their trap of thinking that ahe’s not intelligent. Plus, there are different types of intelligence.
Cheney also supported the Law of the Sea Treaty. Not exactly a conservative cause.
Nor is Abortion but Romney gave thousands to support it and signed legislation backing it. And Gay marriage. And a ton more, but that didn’t stop and HASN’T stopped you from defending him as a good idea as long as he could “Win”.
Situational ethics much?
Principles? We don’t need no stinking principles!
Keep up the good fight, Norm.
Snowden is a traitor if he gave Intel to the Chinese. He is also a patriot if he has been truthful about warrantless invasion of personal correspondence between Americans. Surprisingly the two are not mutually exclusive here. But Sarah is right Snow den is not the issue. If you have a boot on your neck does it really matter if the boot is the left or right one?
Think about that.

Strange things is, the only sitting politicians who complained about it, before Snowden leaked, were Democrats.
I will and thank you. As long as I can type I will never stop fighting the idiots that want to make us Dem lite. Or full blown Communist one step at a time.
They do not understand that I LIKE arguing with stupid people. It makes my points so easy to prove.
” rationalize supporting Cruz/Palin “
So they aren’t conservative enough for ya? no surprise.
hero eh, go have another drink. You won’t change anything anyway.
I think you’ve got a live one...go for it.
Stupid and illiterate is no way to go through life son.
Neither one of those is on par with Palin or Cruz
Which is why you should open a book now and then.
He has a mad on for me because him and his counterpart Lakeshark can’t seem to get FR on board with the lesser evil philosophy like they used to.
See my post history for details. But what is most needed is ALL freepers to stand up and BELIEVE IN SOMETHING, not sit on the sidelines while the propagandists keep pushing the same crap that got us into this mess.
It's not like that tactic has not been seen before.
I will not vote for your GOP-E liberal. I will vote for someone else.
I get off my ass and go door-knock. That's how I helped Cruz.
If you estrange people with principles... You will face God alone and bereft.

I think your posts on this thread show clearly which of us has reading comp issues.
i think this story is doing a good job separating republicans from conservatives. the wheat from the chaff.
seeing all these liberals defend Obama on the issue reminds me of the end of Animal Farm:
Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. No question, now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
That sums up the Obama administration
