Obama's Father's Day Message: It's Hard Being a Single Mom or Gay Dad

On Father’s Day weekend, President Obama issued his usual radio and internet address, in which he talked about his own father’s absence, talked about the heroism of single parents, and lamented the plight of put-upon gay dads. “I never really knew my own father. I was raised by a single mom and two wonderful grandparents who made incredible sacrifices for me. And there are single parents all across the country who do a heroic job raising terrific kids,” he said. “Being a good parent – whether you’re gay or straight; a foster parent or a grandparent – isn’t easy. It demands your constant attention, frequent sacrifice, and a healthy dose of patience. And nobody’s perfect. To this day, I’m still figuring out how to be a better husband to my wife and father to my kids.”

Yeah, I’ve done a few of those “corrections” myself. So far, they haven’t blocked me.
I, too, wish some of those who post there would tighten up on the grammar and syntax (not to mention spelling) but these are military guys and, when the SHTF, I’d rather have one of them in the foxhole with me than an English professor. I’m guessing you would as well.

Oh, it’s so tough being a homosexual parent. You get loved and put on a pedestal, you get phone calls from the White House, you have the media to silence any critics of your warped desires. Then again, I guess the AIDS medication and abuse suffered at the hands of other homosexuals makes for a really difficult week.
Here are the facts, Barry. It is tough to be a single mother or father, yet it is liberal social philosophies that CAUSE this. Look at the warzone you crawled out of, that cesspool you and your lackeys oversaw where family had been made a thing of the past. Guess what. It’s pretty tough being a newborn child and getting sliced up or drowned in solution by the Planned Parenthood certified murderers you sought to defend.
Tough being a homosexual parent? No wonder, since homosexuals were never supposed to be parents for crying out loud. D*ck + a33 = NO BABY. If you won’t look at the Bible, at least read a freakin’ biology book, you Marxist clown.
This man who sits in our White House sickens me more with each passing day. He’s like a societal turd we just can’t flush.
Why? This is Obama we are dealing with.

I don’t agree with Obama’s politics but he’s been a good father. In that role he’s helped American families - black, white and Hispanic see the value of intact families. Hats off to him for that one... (on everything else, he’s wrong)

the only thing his commie mommie struggled against was being a white middle class female who chased exotic men and who was kept and indulged in frivolous academic pursuits all her life
if he was a better father his girls would have golf lessons and be out there with him on some of those hours and hours he spends away from them
golf can be a family pastime or an escape from family time, he uses it for the latter
the only time we see much a window on this family is when they are on vacay and we see them slurping ice cream

Sad thing is, I can both fight and spell. One doesn’t negate the other.
