When did Rome fall? Historians don't always agree on a precise year and a precise event -- but everyone agrees that Rome fell.

When did our republic cease to exist? [shrug] We may all have our own opinions on the precise date, but I think we all know that this is over. Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.

At least you understand what most refuse to acknowledge in terms of the fact that this is no longer a Republic.

As to ‘freedom’ being just another word for ‘nothing left to lose’, that will describe most of us on FR very soon.

For the rest, they assume they have ‘freedom’. Freedom to be given what they want, to do what they want on the ashes of what we used to be ... as long as they got their stuff and entertainments and have someone else foot the bill for their irresponsibility. That’s freedom for them.

At the same exact time, for the MarxoFascists in the Oligarchy now ruling us - they are now self-aware of the fact that they have the freedom to do as they please without consequence.

And history teaches us, that at such time as we are entering - genocides begin.

It’s coming. Mark my words. It’s coming.

All of this - all the stockpiling of ammo by alphabets loyal to Obama and D.C., all the intel gathering on everything about you, all of this leads to chaos, anarchy and genocide. By design.

Satan’s fingerprints on history if you will.

Clear as a bell to anyone that is willing to see them.

1913 was prob. the last straw. The Fed, income tax (16th) and 17th.

Couple that with the Depression and WWI to make the rest seem ‘past’....

It fell and many historians believe it was a direct result of the institution of the "Dole".....

"When did Rome fall?...

I agree with your analysis. I often word it that the average Roman citizen probably did not know Rome had fallen, they just went about their lives.

As far as "this is over" goes. I feel like our culture is over, replaced by technological and scientific advances that even further redefine (and mostly not for the better) who we are. I think we're at the last stand for the US as a country. If the hordes of invaders and legal residents that don't assimilate to the US doesn't end and we don't stop wasting our resources blowing things up all over the world and we don't become self-sufficient again, we're over. Like you said, we're probably already over and like the Romans just aren't that self-aware.

Agreed. Yet people, some of whom know what has happened to their country, continue to keep having children, children who will grow up in a world the parents know is not going to be favorable to them.

Please explain that to me. The only explanation I can come up with is: the urge to procreate is stronger than reason.
