It is the most easily-recognized flag in the world, the flag of the United States of America. It is the symbol of our great nation, a nation that was the envy and the desire of the world, and for so long, the light of nations for freedom and prosperity.
Our nation is under attack from within, at the hands of those who run our federal government and other institutions. Even our flag, for many years now, has been a target of those who hate us.
Some of us have become disheartened and weary of speaking out against the evil forces that have commandeered our federal, state and local leadership. It seems that our voices cannot reach above the screeching din of the hate-filled Left with its Hells media megaphones and army of useful idiot, blathering trolls incessantly repeating the party line talking points of ruin against our nation.
But, for now, our flag still flies, and those of us who love this great nation also love its beautiful symbol. Though we may be outraged and brokenhearted at what we see happening to our beloved nation, we will not give up speaking out for whats right and speaking against whats wrong.
This is not for the cynical. Here is a brief, heartfelt narration called, "The Flag," by Chicagos Denny Farrell. Denny is a world-class radio announcer, Big Band Hall of Fame Inductee and winner of the National Ballroom & Entertainment Associations Award for his outstanding radio show. An American patriot, he hosts two weekly radio shows, "The Original Big Band Showcase" and "Late Night Chicago Radio," both of which are heard on numerous stations across America and streaming on the Internet.
Display your American flag especially today, while it still lawful...
thanks for the reminder. it is up!
Here too.
Long may She wave!
Some would see that as a target....hope the guy made it thru the line.
Certainly, it took some courage. Makes me wonder about our own kind.
I don’t wonder anymore...I see. Looked at my street today for flags..... Nothing...but one Vietnam Vet has four in his front yard...flag poles and all!
In Teheran?! Wow, amazing!
