I’m not fond of NSA or encumbents generally speaking.
Do not quit reading my post half way through. What did I say after the sentence you quoted?
Your phone calls are already in the data bank of your phone company, and they already sell the data to advertisers. Do you get junk mail? Ding ding ding....your email is not private either.
But private companies mostly stay out of politics. Crooked politicians do not.
I read it all the way through. You said there is nothing wrong with the NSA collecting the data. They have no constitutional authority to get that information on me or you without a warrant and upon probable cause.
They are getting oillegal orders that compel phone companies and Internet companies to surrender private information on virtually everyone in the country.
Even if nobody ever looks at that information, they have no constitutional authority to gather it.
So if you think any of that is OK, then you don’t believe in the fourth amendment.
I believe in the entire constitution, including all amendments.
The 4th Amendment is about unreasonable searches and seizures. Your phone calls and emails are handled by corporations in the public domain and have all rights reserved on handling them. There is nothing UNREASONABLE in the government storing them in a data bank.
Bush-43 did it for 8 years and it was just fine.Because he was not a crooked politician.
You’re an idiot.
But you knew that already.
Typical liberal response. When can't debate on substance, resort to personal attacks.
I was just stating a fact.
If Peter King was speaker he would push a gun bill that would die but he would not let the amnesty come to the floor. Unfortunately Peter King isn’t even the worst out there.
