Hoo boy Moe Lane at Red State has come across a nasty little piece of business coming out of New Mexico this past week. If the story plays out as early reporting indicates, there are a number of people including prominent Democrats and a potential gubernatorial candidate who will have some splaining to do. The story begins in the campaign offices of Governor Susana Martinez, one of the rising stars of the GOP who has already been mentioned as possible POTUS or VPOTUS material in the future.
~~snip~~
The local media is already on this, as the following video shows. But when the story starts out like this, you know youve got problems:
How did a hijacked e-mail get into the hands of the head of the state Democratic Party? A federal investigation into the governors stolen e-mails has led to child pornography charges against a powerful Democratic operative. And weve learned that the person charged with child porn sent one of those hijacked e-mails, which had nothing to do with porn, to the state Democratic Party chairman.

FBI Docs Implicate Dem Chair Bregman In Emailgate
Also implicated is current Dem AG Gary King (and potential Martinez 2014 opponent) who released 300 pages of hi-jacked emails in an attempt to smear Martinez over awarding a contract for a casino at the state fairgrounds. After Martinez recognized the emails as hers, she called the FBI who started an investigation and warned AG King the release might have violated federal law.

This doesn’t look good for Martinez, either. Her campaign manger is stealing emails and giving them to the Democrats? Why does she have a campaign manager who is trying to damage her and help the Democrats?
Some of the stolen emails included things such as bank account information, receipts for clothing, and political strategy memos. Those personal emails were released to be publicized by New Mexico Attorney General and Democratic candidate for Governor Gary King. Afterward, King claimed he had no idea there was an ongoing FBI investigation despite the fact it had been very publicly reported in the media.
Susana Martinez Facebook page - "How low will they go?" (NM-Dem smears)
To summarize, Jamie Estrada was hired as Susana's campaign manager in the summer of 2009 (she was elected Governor in November 2010). She fired him in December 2009, saying I knew the defendant to be a man of suspect character. That is why I fired him ... and why I rejected him for a position within my administration after being elected. However, Estrada had the username and passwords for her campaign site and after his firing intercepted emails which made their way to opponents. When the domain name expired, he renewed it and redirected emails to another account he established. When the confidential emails began appearing in various political and legal venues, the administration asked the US Attorney to investigate.
The lesson the campaign learned the hard way is one every business already knows: When a key employee leaves or is fired, you change computer access and passwords to prevent hi-jacking and retribution.
Kind'a looks like that, doesn't it?
Thanks for that explanation.
Martinez had fired the manager, but neglected to change a password on her computer and the former manager was able to log on and steal the emails.
These proclivities do not manifest well sexually.
This is why DemonRatz are always looking to screw someone weaker.
It keeps them young at heart
The porn thing, child or otherwise, is one of the reasons the hard left loves islam. THEY have a ‘god’ that justifies this crap and a ‘prophet’ who practiced it.
It sounds like Martinez needs to have a better selection process. The fact she put someone in charge of her campaign so bad, is a bad sign. Was he a Democrat activist all along?
More likely a person on a power trip without strong principles or allegiance to any political party. In any event, he was on board at the start of her campaign for less than six months until December 2009, and it did not materially affect her primary election in June 2010 or her November 2010 victory. This was her first statewide campaign and I'm sure she learned some valuable lessons.
