Included among the suspected terrorists were Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.

At the time it was revealed, the program called “Operation Vigilant Eagle” caused some controversy but was quickly forgotten and buried by the media.

For the DHS, Vigilant Eagle was the expression of the misdirected paranoia that exists at the agency’s highest levels, which since President Obama stepped into office have issued multiple reports about a supposed wave of terrorism by American conservatives of various stripes, from Tea Party members to off-duty cops.

I can see why the DHS has justifiable paranoia when it comes to the remaining makers living in the US.

There are two nations within our borders. There is The United States of America which follows a Constitution, and there is Democratland which seeks to loot the nation’s treasury. Which one is going to win?

The biggest story of the year will be when some Washington Post reporter connects the profiling done by the IRS with the EXACT SAME profiling done by Homeland Security - and the connection to the Lone Wolf (sting) to ‘catch’ conservatives... (same profiling group)

I believe that veterans have been named as terrorists more than once by representatives of the people’s choice to occupy the White House.

After cautioning that one case described here does not a pattern or a conspiracy make, nevertheless we now have added to the AP and Fox scandals the reassertion of political calculations made in the closing of Republican General Motors automobile dealerships and now we have an indication that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security were spying on American citizens just because they were veterans.

In addition to the single instance cited in this article about a veteran who was allegedly forcibly incarcerated in a psychiatric institution only for expressing political opinions, we have reports that his lawyer has received several similar complaints of government harassment from other mistreated veterans.

The accumulation of allegations is edging ever closer to a critical mass at which point demands for the appointment of a special prosecutor can no longer be ignored. We need additional reports from additional victims and we need them to be aired by some national news organization.

Included among the suspected terrorists were Iraq and Afghanistan veterans . . . American conservatives of various stripes, from Tea Party members to off-duty cops.

If certain groups are worried that these pro-Constitution Americans will act against the federal government, perhaps they should look into whether that government is following the Constitution.

Of course. Remember they told us that they hate veterans! Don’t be surprised that they treat veterans like an enemy.

Meanwhile, the jihadi brotherhood is in the white house, and eric holder is not in jail for his actions.

This is absurd. But it is inline with what Congress is being told/informed of by the Congressional Research Service (their researchers). The CRS reports identify the subjects of this post as domestic terrorist. However, ‘Americans’ who believe in jihadi ideology and plot attacks are not domestic terrorists. Read footnote 1 from the CRS reports as it eliminates jihadi types from their discussion and consideration: “This paper will not focus on homegrown violent jihadists.”
