Women of America particularly female "Star Trek" fans co-writer/producer Damon Lindelof has something to say to you: There was no practical reason for Alice Eve to appear in her lingerie in "Star Trek Into Darkness," and he's sorry for that.

There were two reasons Jolene Blalock was on that show, and neither one had anything to do with acting. She played a Vulcan, so they must have been her ears.

Her T&A I assume. Her backside was a work of art in that catsuit.

Because Star Trek is all about hot Vulcans.
That said, the Voyager episode where Seven assumed the personalities of those she had assimilated as a Borg was a marvelous piece of acting by someone who was both beautiful AND could actually act, Jeri Ryan.

I was more offended by the not so veiled attempt to parallel the situation with Iraq, and the slap in the face dedication to those who died “since” 911 at the end.

There’s an alleged incident from the sealed divorce records claiming her husband, Jack Ryan, took her to private clubs or some such to show her off... not to “swap” her out. These divorce records were ordered open by Zero’s political allies when Jack Ryan (who had never held office) ran for the Senate. Indeed, this was probably the first and only time in the history of politics that a candidate was accused of wanting to have sex... with his own wife.
Jeri Ryan’s married name was Ryan, her maiden name was Zimmermann. Jeri, btw, was not faithful to her husband, banging one of the Star Trek producers while she was in L.A., and he was in Chicago with their young child.

there is no gratuitous skin in star trek movies. it all is integral to the story.
it is star trek. good looking girls that like men, required. it’s why we never see them begging to go to the lumberjack planet of unshaved husky amazon lesbian truck drivers.

Hmmm.... With all the inventions over the 300 year period you would think they would come up with a better bra and panty combo.
Then again, I am not complaining.

If they must have a scene with a woman in lingerie, Alice Eve is an excellent choice. Much better choice than the guy that played Scotty or the little alien he was trotting around with.

One of the more interesting things about the original Star Trek is that Scotty who is from Canada but is of Scottish descent, was shot seven times during the Normandy Invasion. He had a finger shot off and was apparently self conscious about it.
I have watched shows after finding that out and Scotty really does hide that missing finger.

I always thought Doris Day sounded so much better than her real name. Mary Kapplehoff.

brief shot of Alive Eve in what could have been a bikini is typical PC PC? PC demands full nudity and a lesbian sex scene for helping to groom the kids.
