Women of America particularly female "Star Trek" fans co-writer/producer Damon Lindelof has something to say to you: There was no practical reason for Alice Eve to appear in her lingerie in "Star Trek Into Darkness," and he's sorry for that.

I liked the new Trek movie myself and can think of a few things I would have done different.
But to complain about this very brief shot of Alive Eve in what could have been a bikini is typical PC nonesense.
I asked myself if I was OK with this scene and I must say "yes, yes I am".

Gratuitous? When your audience is adolescent boys? More like obligatory.

There is every reason for Alice Eve to be in lingerie.

We all remember the skin tight miniskirts from the original series and green dancing girl in the pilot episode fondly, too.

I wasn’t offended. It wouldn’t have been necessary if she had not been gorgeous.

In Star Trek: Enterprise, they took several opportunities to strip down Sub-Commander T’Pol (Jolene Blalock), including having her wear skimpy outfits, sharing showers, greasing herself up with something, etc.
To: Carbonsteel
If they must have a scene with a woman in lingerie, Alice Eve is an excellent choice.

Does anyone think it was just coincidence that 7of9 was hot as a firecracker and wore skin tight clothes.

Alice Eve should be in lingerie in every movie she appears in, up to and including a remake of The Sound of Music"

Which makes it sad that her perv congressman husband wanted to shop her around for another model. Her real last name is Zimmerman, btw.

In Star Trek: Enterprise, they took several opportunities to strip down Sub-Commander TPol (Jolene Blalock), including having her wear skimpy outfits, sharing showers, greasing herself up with something, etc. There were two reasons Jolene Blalock was on that show, and neither one had anything to do with acting.

You mean it is not really 7of9?
