So Big Guy fired (oops! we dont use that term around here any more) acting IRS Director Stephen Miller. Technically Jack Lew was the poodle handling the termination, as Big Guy never gets involved in the minutia of governing.
Unfortunately, we might only get partial credit for this decisive action with respect to Big Guys handling of Intim-O-Gate (h/t Glenn Beck) since Mr. Miller was planning to leave in June when his temporary assignment expired anyway.
If a dead tree falls in the forest
And if firing the acting IRS director who wasnt even the Director at the time the IRS rogue employees went native on their own isnt enough to satisfy you people, then theres always this time honored defense: it was Bushs fault:
Oh, and by the way, it doesnt look like those two four rogue employees responsible for initiating the illegal scrutiny of 31 75 300 500 conservative groups are willing to fall on the sword in the forest. From what I hear, theyre taking the Nuremberg defense; and they dont intend to do it quietly.
And Benghazi? Not BOs doing. Well, that would be Romneys fault:
Im thinking maybe what we need is a new media relations team. Because if Big Guy could just get out in front of these stories Im sure his expert crisis management skills that he developed as a community organizer would be very helpful. At least we wouldnt always be a day late and a few trillion dollars short:
Until then, we may have to take the other famous German line of defense the Sgt. Schultz immunity shield:
I think we need more than a new media team: a full flak jacket would be ideal, butt minimally a new brain bucket. To ward off any additional incoming fire. And I just sense there will be more.
Never underestimate the value of a good Luftwaffe pith helmet to deflect incoming facts; shown here worn jaunty homie style (is that racist?).
Dude, what up wit dat?
Posted from: Michelle Obamas Mirror
Obastard actually wants us to believe that the HUNDREDS of conservative or conservative-sounding group audits were ordered by ONE person?
Big diffs between Sgt Schultz and the Holderdork thing/object:
1. Shultz was honest and likeable.
2. Shultz was smarter.
3. One could trust Schultz.
4. Shultz got his job without quotas.
5. Shultz has measurable IQ.
Watching Obama and his lies would be funny if not for so many idiots believing every word out of his mouth.
Proof that the children of sluts make bad presidents.
Beck, Rush, we can poke fun, shout, all we want, but until there are some republican/conservative heroes to rise up and carry the mantle without letting the media drop it (meaning accept the IRS resignations, explanations of Bengazi, AP apologies, etc.), the tree fell and didn’t make a sound.
The big guy wants it to be forgotten. Getting ‘angry’ and firing the guy tells the media to let it drop.
Agree - we have the snake cornered but nobody wants to bring a .410 or hoe to finish it off.
I think a better comparison might be to The Godfather. Remember how Don Corleone passed down orders? Usually with a whisper, often inaudible, on down the chain of command. And then there was law of silence...the omerta. Violate that law and you just might walk into a waiting car some day with Clemenza waiting in the back seat. This is how I think the Obama White House operates. Add to the mix Obama’s knowledge of Saul Alinsky’s tactics as well as his his long experience in the Cook County one party political machine.
Awesome job! Mega kudos
Actually it could have come from one or two people, depending on who they were and what position they held. From the standpoint of the President or Treasury Secretary, a Division Chief supervising dozens of agents might be considered a low level employee. Even a program or regional director in IRS headquarters might be described as a low level employee. The implication being made that the low level employees in question were clerks atually mailing the letters is obviously false. It will take time but it will be sorted out. This is the career civil service and there will be a paper trail. While those actually at the lower levels will not jeopardize themselves by getting out front, they will also not sacrifice themselves to protect those above them.
