1. They must pay back taxes
Jon Feere is the legal policy analyst at the Center for Immigration Studies.
Despite claims from amnesty advocates, the bill does not contain a requirement that illegal immigrants pay back taxes for the many years they have been working off the books. The only requirement in the bill is that illegal immigrants must iron out any existing problems they may have with the IRS. If the IRS has ever audited the illegal immigrant and requested payment of unpaid taxes, they would be required to pay them before receiving amnesty.
The reality is that the 45 percent of illegal immigrants estimated to be working off the books are not even on the IRS's radar and are highly unlikely to have ever been audited. There simply aren't any tax forms to audit. Of the remaining illegal immigrants, the number who have been audited by the IRS is also likely very small, simply because historically the IRS audits only about 1 percent of tax filers.
The current tax provision in the bill will not be of any consequence to the overwhelming majority of illegal immigrants who apply for the amnesty. That is why at least one amendment has been offered, thus far, that would actually require payment of back taxes for the period amnesty applicants have worked illegally in the United States.
The bill also does not require employers of illegal immigrants to pay FICA taxes for the years they paid illegal immigrants under the table.

just 3 evil things I know out of this 800 page mosntrosity of a bill
1. it will let the amnestied bring in their relatives from the 3rd world
2. creates a big brother national id card to monitor all of us
3. more gov
What a surprise!
It IS an amnesty after all!
The 5 Myths:
1.They must pay back taxes
2.They must learn English
3.They must pass a background check
4. They must pay a fee and fine
5. They must go to the back of the line
How can we begin to debate the issue when we bend over and insist on using the deceptive wordsmith words from the left?
There is no such thing as an illegal immigrant. Sneaking over the border is not immigrating. Overstaying your visa is not immigrating.
We are dealing with Criminal Trespassers but not one RINO dares to use such accurate language.
The right is pathetic in their debate skills as they start every debate using made up terms from communist progressives who only need to use every dishonest debate tactic of the most vile Saul Alinsky.
A myths about illegal immigrants
That the illeqal aliens have anything to do with immigration...
They dont...
what they do is not immigration...
Illegal Alien Amnesty is Anti-American Bigotry
This travesty of a bill proves the point
And we wonder why some people have difficulty writing a sentence with proper English.
We’re being lied to yet again so the cultural overrunning of America can continue.
And what if they say “NO”?
This is beyond stupid.
Just a a quick remark, yesterday I watched some of the Senate subcommittee hearings on immigration, the large audience was filled with Mexicans. Why does anyone say that they are hiding in the shadows? It is Americans who are hiding in the shadows. I didn’t see Americans sitting in their own Capitol building watching the proceedings. You would think that the workings of the Senate only applied to illegal foreigners and not real American citizens.
I am so sick and tired of seeing these demanding trespassers taking over our government and stealing our voices in our own government. These professional whiners and complainers were there at the Senate hearings because they have many millions of dollars in funding including the tax money of American citizens. National Council of La Raza as well as other groups get money from the biggest foundations in America along with about a hundred corporate contributors. This is why you see illegals in our house of congress while you do not see Americans. What a disgrace!
Citizens groups that oppose illegal immigration don’t have nearly as much funding as the illegals which is why we do not see hundreds of American in the audience of the Senate. It takes money to organize these people. There are thousands of Americans who have been killed by illegal drunk drivers and murderers but they are the ones who are suffering in silence in the shadows. They cannot get to Washington to tell their stories on the illegal intruders can get face time with the top Senators.
