This is obvious... some TwitFace at the White House decided to put the eagle upside down. They could have had the White House photographer take another picture of the oval office ceiling with the eagle appearing upright, or simply inverted the picture.
The eagle on the seal of the president is always displayed upright whether on a podium, a wall, or on any page, including what the reader sees on the computer screen. Not like this fallen eagle. . .

On my screen only the menu text at left and the upside down seal are visible in the background, with the resolution and text size that I normally use.
Others may be able to see partially some of the background picture of the office below, but the eagle is the prominent feature next to the menu, and it is upside down...big mistake...or was it placed there as a message on purpose as the article states. Will the White House change it now that it has been pointed out?

It’s looks like a real photo.. They chose that photo because the angle shows the American Eagle upside down.. It’s strategic in nature.. They are passive-aggressive Commie Creeps who hate America.. They continue to give us the finger any way they can.

The eagle is upside down due to perspective. The photo is flipped horizontally because it simply makes a better photo to have some of the words legible. (I would have done the same if I were the photographer)
I took a flat photo as posted above, flipped it to get the same from the door perspective then flipped it horizontally to get the lettering correct.
There's nothing there.
