Happy, private, buyer of .22 "Assault Rifle" at Phoenix gun turn in event.
This rifle seems to have most things needed to make a media inspired "assault rifle". It has a flash hider, large magazine, folding stock, pistol grip, and is semi-automatic. Luckily, it has "brown privilege", so it is less likely to be discriminated against than if it were black.
The ordinary Philippene made semi-auto .22 was fitted with some AR-15 style hardware to give it more sales appeal.
Interesting homemade folding stock using cabinet hardware
Note the hardware latch used to secure the folding stock
Detail of stock folded on left side of rifle.
The craftsmanship and ingenuity make the rifle well worth the $100 price paid.

Well, that certainly makes it much more lethal than a standard SA .22lr.
Gives new meaning to rifle “furniture”.
Creative ping!
Glad that you approve. Fun looking rifle. People made some great deals at this turn in event.
I cannot wait to see the red neck version of an under barrel grenade launcher.
Seriously it shows the American igenuity when the need arises, and it has arisen.
Hmmm, folding stock.
That makes the gun even meaner looking and more dangerous.
Had me some fun adding stuff to it in order that it might look more "evil".
The rifle pictured upthread shows creativity.. and is just plain clever.
I appreciate clever!
Pingeroo!
The bolt and scope look like it’s modded Mossberg Plinkster, of which we have one. Pretty nifty for inexpensive backyard (out in the country) target shooting.
Does that sound sincere enough? More adjectives and italics?
I have that .22 rifle ,it’s an M16 look alike ,all that person did was remove the black paint ,cut the but off and hollow it out ,looks better as the M16 look alike , it did have carrying handle instead of scope
Kudos to the craftsman for a job well done and congrats to the buyer for snagging a great bargain.
Never underestimate human ingenuity!
under barrel... no
.410 gauge molotav cocktail launcher.. easy..
.410 single shot..
old style aluminum arrow with threaded top...
little homemade basket that screws into the top of the arrow...
the rest is up to your imagination
As I looked at the third photo, I considered that it showed the right hand pants pocket.
I thought, this fellow (who I think is a serious American martial artist, -guns and knives-) must be left handed, because I did not see a folding pocket knife clipped to the pocket.
Then I saw it, in exactly the same place that I carry my Cold Steel... a nice little pocket folder clipped next to the seam of the pants in the right front pocket.
This man is definitely one who has studied defense against deadly conflict, up close and personal.
