Chief Executive Magazine has put out its annual business ranking of the 50 states a ranking based on a survey of 736 CEOs. biz-bottom-ten
At right, you can see the bottom ten states. You might notice that most of them have something in common...Here are some of the CEOs' comments on the worst states for business:

Not all of the worst states are in quite the same boat. For example, at 44, Michigan has improved significantly since 2010, when it was number 48. (I wonder why.)
Probably could have gotten off the list altogether if it weren't for Rick Snyder's fascination with green energy, choo choo trains, and Obamacare.

I thought Obummer said there were 53..... Obama not only said 57 states but indicated 58 in same sentence. But hey, I count 47 states since I ignore Democratic-controlled California, New York and Illinois. And to my surprise, those three states are at the bottom of the list.
