Though it is unclear how anyone at the company could have possibly though it was a good idea, Hyundai Europe recently released an advertisement depicting a man attempting to commit suicide via carbon monoxide poisoning by leaving his car running in the garage. The man in the ad fails to kill himself because the vehicle’s emissions are 100 percent water emissions.

The official apology from the car maker reads as though they had absolutely no knowledge of the commercials content. What a genuine apology.

I find it interesting when I read apologies such as these. Be it manufacturers or politicians, they should issue less wordy statements and go with the truth; we're sorry we got caught doing something stupid.

Freakin’ people need to lighten up. It is a commercial. You don’t like it, don’t buy the damn car. That is how the free market is suppose to work.

I have been offended at the constant outsourcing of our national industrial complex and technology sectors.
