WATE: Authorities are investigating after a security guard was fired upon at the Watts Bar Nuclear Power Plant. It happened around 2 a.m. today on the TVA property near the Tennessee River about a quarter mile from the plant's protected area. Officials say the security officer was patrolling the area when he was shot at, he returned fire and was uninjured. The shooting lead the Watts Bar plant staff to declare an unusual event, which is the lowest of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's four emergency classifications. The FBI will also be sending a team. A suspect has not been found.

“Shots fired at a PG&E substation in San Jose this week”
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - In apparent acts of “sabotage” in the South Bay early Tuesday, someone cut fiber optic cables, knocking out some 911 service, and then fired a rifle at a PG&E substation, Santa Clara County’s sheriff said.
A short time after the cables were cut, around 1:45 a.m., the sheriff’s office and San Jose police received reports of gunfire in the area of Monterey Highway and Blanchard Road, sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Kurtis Stenderup said.
Officers and deputies responded but didn’t find anything out of the ordinary.
Two hours later, PG&E contacted the sheriff’s office to report a problem at the utility’s nearby substation in the 100 block of Metcalf Road.
PG&E officials told the sheriff’s office that the substation’s security fence had been breached, at least five transformers had been damaged and that hazardous materials had spilled, Stenderup said

I have never heard that it was the most secure and I currently work there. It is very approachable by water, however it is ostensibly secured by guards.

Dang! Whenever there is a terrorist attack there also happens to be a “drill” concerning that particular form of attack at the very same time. If they’re suddenly starting to have nuclear drills it could mean the next attack will be nuclear.
Not a bad thing to be drilling up for, given the North Korea situation, but I sure wish we could trust the government to not be DOING and/or coordinating the terrorist attacks.
Our FBI knew that Tsarnaov was associated with terrorists - had plenty of warnings, and Russia tried warning us about him a LOT.
Holder’s FBI exhibited what appears to be a deliberate dropping-of-the-ball with that guy. I remember back shortly before the Hasan massacre, FBI folks were spilling the beans that Holder had told them they couldn’t investigate Black Muslim converts any more. That was right around the same time as the Brooklyn bomb sting and the Muslim guy’s shooting of the military recruiter in Arkansas. It was also right around the same time as the murder of Wichita abortionist George Tiller, and it was contrasted how Obama IMMEDIATELY offered condolences and decried that murder but hardly got around to saying anything about the military recruiter who was killed.
I’m wondering how the timing of the Russian warnings about Tsarnaov fit in with Holder’s deliberate muzzling of investigations involving US Muslims...
That was in 2009 - Seems like right away, as soon as Obama/Holder got in there, the FBI folks knew they had to switch how they did things. Here’s a report based on what Stratfor was saying - that FBI leaders knew if they wanted to get a promotion they needed to not investigate/catch Black Muslim converts to Islam, even though the Bush FBI had shown an extensive plan to recruit these from the prison system. Somebody posted another story today, about underground Muslim communities - acres of land that house seditious communities of Muslims largely recruited from the prisons. Right around the 2008 election I did some checking on Obama’s connections with both the communists and Islamists, and found that there was a big connection between Detroit and Chicago, regarding the Muslim recruitment of converts within the prison system. They are a captive audience and Islam fits the dysfunctional view of life that led them to a life of crime in the first place, so there are a LOT of converts.
Jeremiah Wright and his pals worked with Ayers and Obama on the Annenberg Challenge - and the way they found to “improve” inner-city Chicago schools was to teach the teachers to do sub-Saharan supremacy indoctrination of the kids. This is teaching the kids racism against whites. Some of the attacks on whites after the Trayvon Martin death involved Blacks who had Arab-ized names and were active with sub-Saharan supremacy groups such as would have been created as a result of the Annenberg Challenge stuff that Ayers and Obama pushed, with urging from Jeremiah Wright and his Islamist pals.
Wright is the one who - if the reports are true, and I didn’t see all of that so somebody will have to clue me in on that - says he made it possible for Obama to “convert” to Christianity without renouncing Islam. If I understand correctly, Wright himself was a Muslim but found it easier to reach his intended audience - disgruntled Blacks - by calling himself “Christian”. Which is exactly where Obama found himself as a “community organizer”. He had to have the outward trappings of Christianity in order to blend in with the culture of the Blacks he hoped to “organize”. If Wright was able to let Obama become “Christian” without renouncing Islam, maybe it’s because that’s what he himself did.
There is a LOT more that goes into this story, and I can’t help but wonder how many of these connections Breitbart was prepared to make in the course of his intended exposing of Obama’s racist past.

I know this is off-topic for this thread, except for the connection to terrorism, but there are wider connections associated with this as well.
Louis Farakkhan has referred to Obama as the “Savior”. There is no Muslim on earth who would refer to a Christian as Muslims’ “Savior”. Farakkhan knows what and who Obama is.
Farakkhan, Wright, and Ghadaffi were all quite cozy. Ghadaffi is dead now and his weapons are being given to Al Qaeda in Syria, which is also associated with the Chechen terrorists that Tsarnaov is believed to have been funded by - including Saudi Arabian funding such as might have been done by this Saudi prince who was supposedly injured in the Boston marathon bombing.
Ghadaffi had broken ranks with Obama at the very end, warning the world that the rebels who were fighting him would not cooperate with anti-terrorism but were associated with Al Qaeda. In 2008 Ghadaffi had publicly mentioned that the Muslim world had contributed to Obama’s campaign and was hoping that Obama wouldn’t succomb to his own emotional desires but would remember his “Muslim faith”. A year after taking office - in January of 2010 - Obama felt the need to explain to world Muslims why he had not yet started working on the “Muslim agenda”. He privately told the Egyptian ambassador that he was and still is a Muslim who supports the Muslim agenda but the Muslim world needed to be patient with him while he got Obamacare passed and then he could work on the “Muslim agenda”.
The agenda that all branches of Islam agree on is the destruction of the US and Israel and the institution of worldwide sharia.
By that time, the FBI was already learning it needed to catch only the terrorists that Holder wanted them to catch. Law enforcement had already been told that Constitutionalists, pro-lifers, small-government folks, and Christians were the real terrorists to watch out for.
If Russia alerted the US to Tsarnaov’s terrorist connections 2 years ago, that would have been somewhere around 2011. If the FBI was watching Tsarnaov for 5 years that would have been around 2009.
