The word should discreetly go out to the Texas Rangers and the local police that if they locate any bands of these thugs, they are not to go out of their way to take them alive.
Assassinating prosecutors is a major escalation, and the only response to it is to punish the offenders so hard they will never do it again. The courts are not directly involved with this, as it is effectively a response to “war crimes”.
The same applies to police if they ID individual members of the gang. Take them somewhere out of sight and off them.
Word also goes out to the prisons that criminals in these gangs should have a short life expectancy. How that happens is up to them is up to the prison management, as long as they keep it discreet.

Despite the one (1) recent case in Colorado, the tactic of killing prosecutors is one favored by the cartels.
Besides, the use of violence as a political means is almost exclusively a leftist occupation. Note the following:

You sure brought them to justice, didn't you Mike? Seems like whomever you're opposing sent YOU a message instead. I'm waiting for another official to step forward and bluntly vow that the prosecutor's killers will be brought to justice.
Maybe some government officials will now be opting for "...clinging to their religion and guns" now, I guess. If the governing Federal officials would have an attitude change and decide to do things the way conservatives have been advocating, in a couple of years we could clean ALL of this mess up. But, you won't listen. And now, maybe it's too late....

Saturday morning a line of thunderstorms was moving through between 3am and 5am, local time. This would have been the perfect time for the murders to take place AND may account for the lack of reports of gunshots being heard, along with the wife being murdered as well. Where are most people at 3am on a Saturday morning? In bed asleep.

Perps are lucky. My wife and I BOTH are awake whenever a thunderstorm is coming through. Won't tell you why, but we are, every time. Lucky we weren't living next door.

Not much info available yet as to incident. It appears they weren’t found to sometime in the afternoon, 4 pm or so. I’ve read both 4 & 6 pm when a neighbor went to check on them as he was unable to contact them. If it occurred during the storm then that makes it about 10 hrs or more until the bodies were found.
