I’ve been in law enforcement, the military and worked overseas doing security. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to encounter and work with people from all sorts of alphabet agencies. One of the things that I’ve learned is that the title does not make the man/woman.
People seem to think that b/c someone says they are FBI, CIA, Secret Service, SWAT, Ranger, Special Forces, etc etc etc etc, that they can somehow leap tall buildings, are more powerful than a locomotive, are smarter than your average bear. Not so.
Like anyone else, in any other job, there are some that are rockstars, there are some that are competent, and there are some that just outright suck at what they do. Doesn’t matter what the job is.
I am here to tell you, that not everyone who works for the CIA is Jason Bourne or James Bond. Far from it.
Such a story will never see the light of day.
I don’t believe Congress passed legislation preventing the arming of these factions. It is stupid, and most definitely resulted in the Benghazi fiasco, but I don’t think it’s illegal.
I remember way back here on FR when everyone was hopeful that BJ Clinton would be charged with the rape of Juanita Broadderick.
Still waiting on that.

As far as the media is concerned - big deal. Nothing to see here citizens. Unless of course we go back to that Iran/Contra thing with Reagan and North then by golly it’s newsworthy for months on end ad nauseum.
That is right. People in this country are so stupid and so lazy and they want to be lied to so much. As long as they are told they are rich and happy- that is all that they care about. They are as smart as fish!
We already know what ciminals we have in DC- and the others do not care. Hey - it gives them permission to be lazy, stupid criminals, to have obama in the WH.
