NBC "Today" news anchor Jenna Wolfe announced on the morning show on Wednesday that she is having a baby girl with partner and NBC News correspondent Stephanie Gosk, acknowledging her gay partnership publicly for the first time.
"This is big for me, I'm actually pregnant," Wolfe, who is the anchor for "Weekend Today," said. "I'm quite pregnant, actually."
Wolfe said the baby is due on August 27 and that she will keep a diary-style blog about her pregnancy.
"It's ... about documenting my fears, funnies and follies that come with doing this for the first time," Wolfe wrote in her first entry. "I've never changed a diaper ... I don't really understand what a breast pump is."
Wolfe, 39, and Gosk, 40, have been together for three years.....

If you are gay, Black, Hispanic, Albino or whatever, if you feel a banner or ‘special status’ is to be given, you aren’t here for the same reason we are.

Being a lib is about labels and not about what’s inside. Frankly I don’t care if someone is gay. I do care if they are parading around in feathers in front of my kids. They want to come to church on Sunday because they feel spiritual, mazel tov. Just don’t force the church to marry you knowing full well the church views your act as morally wrong.
I have a friend who is gay. Comes to all the tea party events. He is fiscally conservative, believes in a strong natal defense and is even pro choice, which he chooses life. I met his partner, cool guy. Played wing for the Flyers back in the 90’s. They don’t act flamboyant, hate the opera and their place looks like a typical man cave.
They been together for a long time. They tell it to me simply, “our life is no ones F’ing business just like your life is no one F’ing business.” they say the flames give all gays a bad name. And they are correct.
I didn’t feel the need to get on national tv and make headlines to announce our kids and that we’re straight. This is just further proof that gays are about the need for attention with all their, “Whaaaa, look at MEEEEE!” hoohaw.
A grown woman who hasn't changed a diaper is quite unusual but then she claims she doesn't know what a beast pump is? No, I'm not believing a word. Probably about as truthful as her news reports.

I hope she lets her son or daughter know his/her real father. It is a tragedy to deliberately bring a child into the world without the chance to be raised by his biological parents.
