Doc’s are facing penalties for patient info stolen/lost/misplaced from their computers to the tune of:
$1.5 MILLION in penalties for “Individual did not know or would not have known” that they even committed an offense
$1.5 million and $50k per offense for “ willful cause but not due to willful neglect”
Physicians were extorted to go digital and now we are penalized for going digital.
The crap just keeps piling on.
Dear Mr. IRS thug,
Your threat is empty, since you appear to be physically incapable of ripping a laptop off of desk.
However, if you persist in your threat to remove our servers, you will find them void of data, since transferred to an undisclosed location.
If you would like to provide specific, legal documentation, for specific information, we will take the request under consideration, consistent with legal advice.
If this office receives further physical or personal threats, they will be addressed with the appropriate, legal force.
If you’re still confused, refer to the U.S. Constitution.
He learned this from the Clintonista regime.
