Consider her testimony and experience as a warning. And yes, the parallels being drawn are alarming, to say the least.
I think the alarm bells have been going off full force for some time. But not everyone understands what the threat really is.

Not everyone understands what the threat really is, in fact few do understand, because it is always about a Hitler, a mythical figure with horns on his head, sort of a Big Bad Wolf, and never about a, let us say, Juan Peron, just an almost regular lovable guy, like our Dear Leader Soetero. And let me tell you, Adolph was just a lovable guy then. No horns on his head.
That plebiscite was about as free as the elections held in the old Soviet bloc.

I checked to see if SNOPES labeled it false yet? They can't bring themselves to state it is true so they labeled it "undetermined" . I guess that allows liberals to say, it's a myth, rumor or urban legend.

So, according to the left everything else Hitler did was great except for one little thing. I don’t kmow how many times I’ve had to explain to liberals that Hitler was a socialist, not “right winger” as defined in U.S.
