Now, let’s find out 1) exactly what that report said, 2) if it was a lie in any way, expose the source. (The source should NOT be protected should he/she have obviously exaggerated the situation.)
Then, hound that source.

Likely you can’t find out who submitted the report,
but you CAN find out who ordered the raid,
and who made the decision that they had to enter the home and look in the gun safe.
Those people need to be sued for violation of civil rights under color of law.

As for the anonymous tipster: Hope you’re happy, Miss. (I’m assuming you’re a liberal woman, although you might also be a liberal girly man, in which case, Miss could still apply.) You know, someday, people will wise up, find out who you are by your I.P. address, and take you outside for a sound talking to (and a beating, if you’re a man), you miserable informant.
Sounds like a law suit is in order against the Dept . of Family Sevices, that will allow discovery of the anonymous tipster, who deserves to be joined as a defendant for giving false information to the dept.
