Marsh Mallows actually are a puffy, light weed that was once used to make marshmallow candy. Like truffles, marshmallows were eventually made without the organism for which they are named.

Back in the 80s British TV did an April Fools story about the sphagetti harvest in Italy. It showed people picking noodles off trees.

I told a co-worker about it the next day and he said “Doesn’t it grow on bushes?”

Someone told me that to find a “Mushroom Farm” online was to go to craigslist and search for the variety of mushroom labeled M4M.....
