If Sarah Palin understands anything, it's the theatrics of a speech, and she can get a crowd riled up better than pretty much anyone in the GOP. That's how it went this afternoon at CPAC, where she launched a fusillade of caustic zingers at President Obama, Washington, and the professional political consultant class. At no point, however, was the packed audience louder than when Palin stuck it to the man by whipping out a Big Gulp full of "pop" (soda) from behind the podium and posing for the cameras while taking a big, freedom-loving sip.

Outside the ballroom afterward, CPAC attendees raved about the stunt. "Hilarious." "I thought that was awesome." "I loved that." One woman I spoke to said the moment "just really symbolized American freedom." A man named Tomas told me that Palin holding up the Big Gulp "gave a new look to the Statue of Liberty."(continued)

Liberal “bunched up panties” comments at the end of the article!
Do a news search of “Palin” and you’ll see pages and pages for the last 24 hours.
Used to love Jolt Cola (”All the sugar and twice the caffeine.” ) but cannot find it any more.
The Big Gulp also ridiculed those who attacked Marco Rubio for reaching for the water bottle during his Republican response to Zer0’s State of the Union. Even if Sarah Palin’s Big Gulp contained diet pop, under Bloomberg’s America, that would have received government sanction. It illustrates the total lack of discretion in unconstitutional government policy.
My eyes watered with pride seeing our angel of freedom, Sarah, give her speech at CPAC.
I had not thought of the Rubio angle, LOL
Liberal fat-asses are hypo-crites.
I thought the same thing, and was surprised at how few people picked up on it...
As is Mundet Manzana Verde.
Both are real cane sugar
There is no longer a “Dublin Dr. Pepper”. The bottling company in Dublin no long produces Dr. Pepper. A bottler in Temple, TX now produces the cane sugar DP.
You got that right!
Help me eat these French Fries Barak!
If you don’t I will eat them all myself!
But there is a DP museum in Dublin, and they do serve it there.
Thanks for Ping.
Maybe no one listened to Sarah declare it was diet pop she was drinking. Even if it was the high fructose corn syrup kind used in most pop, she is an adult and she has the control; not the government nor anyone else. I hope the idiot liberals focus on the Big Gulp. It will show America the fools they are.
The same Left would thinking nothing of knocking down two Rum and Cokes at a party. A Rum and Coke (2 ounces rum, 4 ounces cola) made with 80 proof rum has the following “nutritional values”: 13 carb grams and 182 calories. So, with two, they would have consumed 364 calories. A 24 oz Coke with high fructose corn syrup has 290 calories. Next they will limit how many cocktails they can serve.
LOL! She’s wearing Rich and Skinny brand jeans! Eat your heart out fatty liberals and OWS crowd!
“A man named Tomas”.......ah that be me.
LOL I’m a software developer; without Jolt the industry would have ground to a halt.
LOL!
I’m not yet 30, but I have my host of medical problems which cause me to be completely exhausted, both mentally and physically, daily, from when I wake up to when I go to sleep (sleep is a relative term, as I have apnea).
I’m a little jealous of those that are able to keep up an exercise routine, because when I was 15, I weighed less than 100lbs, but I was leg pressing more than any of the guys on the varsity football team (I had weightlifting the year before football gym was introduced, and saw the numbers the football players were pressing). 300lbs when they were about 170lbs? Not so good. I was doing 450.
Thanks! ;)
