Not to incite rebellion but one of the major reasons that black slaves were unable to rebel and get relief from the slave holders was the complete lack of firearms. I don not want to debate whether they should have or not. that is not my point. My point is that when you are unble to defend yourself again tyranny then you to will become a slave.
