Yea, it's Kraut. Doesn't mean it's not true. Kudos to Paul, (and Cruz & Lee.)

It's way overdue to overtly attack this evil, unconstitutional and anti-American administration.

Sen. Paul’s filibuster shows at least a few Republicans have spines and are willing to defend the Constitution. This drone issue is major. Eric Holder’s wishy-washy explanation of whether Obama would have the Constitutional authority to take out US citizens on US soil pretty much trashes the absolute Constitutional rights of fair trial, the assumption of innocence until proven guilty and judicial process. The drones also raise the issue of privacy. It is ironic that the administration whose staunch support of abortion is based on privacy would have no problem sending its drones to spy on its citizens, listen to their conversations, snoop in their houses, spy on their private property and monitor if they are carrying firearms.

He said that at the end of the Roundtable...and it referred to the political optics only. As for the actual filibuster Kraut said it was silly...it’s not like they’re actually gonna kill anybody. It will never happen so why worry about it...let’s get both side together and write a policy. No kidding...I was pretty amazed at how sanguine he was about the whole thing.

I agree with Kraut on his summary opion but for a different reason.

The past filibuster rules allowed RINOs to avoid ^detailing^ their reasons for not approving the nominee.

Pinheads like McCain could just say, “I don’t think he is qualified for the postiion. I invoke the filibuster rule.” Thus, without being seen as “mean, critical and possibly racist”, he holds up the nominee.

RP actually put his negative opinions on the record.

Krauthammer is an overpaid Master of the Obvious. You could replace him with any random FReeper and get insights just as good or better. When he looks in the mirror he sees fake.
