Unreal. A Honda Ridgeline lookls NOTHING like a Nissan Titan. When protecting fellow police officers, you can never be too careful, no matter how many innocent civilians you kill.

He was driving a pickup truck. Obviously he had it coming.
I drive a sedan, so I am not concerned about such things...

In the interest of public safety, it appears that CA lawmen should not have guns.

And did the PO-PO shoot two other women already in mistaken identity?
Looked like the perp's vehicle, so they just opened fire.

This Dorner fellow is all these local cops have heard about for the last 4 days.
They have been whipped into a frenzy by their bosses and the media. Most are smart and level-headed, but a few of the stupid ones can, I imagine, be easily swept up in the hysteria and do stuff like this (assuming this story is true as reported).
Its another reason the USA has a simple, clear, concise Constitution on such basic matters.

They’re scared, but that doesn’t give them the right to terrorize innocent citizens.
Jail for them.

One more time, they have demonstrated that Police Academies have become brooderies of jack-booted thugs.

Not only do they look nothing alike to an even casual observer of pickup trucks, police officers are supposed to be much more attentive to small differences between vehicles since they are continually on the lookout for specific makes and model years as part of their job.
This Dorner guy has them scared out of their wits.
We've heard nothing from him in quite some time.
Suicide perhaps?

When this drama began last week I wondered—how many potential Chris Dorners are hiding in local police departments? The answer becomes apparent as this circus goes on.

I would require drug tests on the entire Police Department. Obviously they have a problem.

The obvious difference being that the Nissan has a separate bed and horizontal bed rails. The Honda has a funky integral bed and slanted bed rails, and looks very different on the road.

These cops a little out of touch.
They found Dorners burned out pick up in the mountains two days ago.
Well I am glad that I am in Ohio and not California. I have a blue F150 that could easily be mistake for a Nissan Titan. (Well at least if you are a near sighted, hyped up Torrance cop)

When did this happen? Last time I heard...his burnt to a crisp truck was hauled away.
Pssst...About the broken axle...They said they didn't know if it was broken when they found it or wrecked when they towed it. Can you say they're "Stuck on Stupid".

This hits close to home. I used to drive through the intersection of Beryl and Flagler Lane when commuting to and from work.
