Nice job, LAPD rapid and promiscuous FAIL!
nquiring minds would certainly like to see the video from the squad car involved where two LA Police officers rapidly and promiscuously opened fire on a pickup truck, thinking they had the far left-wing murderer Christopher Dorner in their sights.
If you or I had opened fire on a pickup truck whose occupants werent trying to run us over or shooting at us, wed be in jail for a long time to come.
While police have a little additional leeway in using deadly force, it would seem this was a grossly inappropriate use of force and not only should the offending officers be charged criminally, but the department owes the victims a new pickup truck and probably a hefty check on top of that for pain and suffering. Ditto for the homeowners of the freshly perforated home downrange.
In addition, check out that marksmanship or lack thereof.

Of course it looks like they have to have those 30 round mags as they are lousy shots (especially compared to the shooter guy they fired).

I will now add Los Angeles along with New York City to the list of cities I will not be going to. Chicago, New Orleans and East Saint Louis because of the gang wars and New York and Los Angeles because of the ineptitude of the POlice Depts.cop wars.
they are trying to execute him, taking him in is NOT an option
They respect us almost as much as they do dogs now.
If six cops can't kill two defenseless old ladies who are delivering newspapers with 50 shots, what chance does a homeowner have against a determined attacker/home invader if the homeowner is only allowed 5 rounds in his magazine?

Think about how you’d feel if your kid got killed as he or she slept in their bed. I’d want answers and justice. No kidding.
Was this Bonny and Clyde? GOOD GRIEF ! ! !
Gross inept negligence.
Um, Mr. Dorner owns a Nissan Titan, not a Toyota Tacoma!
"Now, as you look at the sequence of where the bodies were, I would think Pilon was first [to die], McVean was the second and Mason lived the longest."
Looks like they eventually ID'd and found them, but didn't get them.

The upside is the LA Times wasn’t delivered to a hundred homes that morning.
Speechless!
Sounds like the cops were relatively stationary and under no immediate pressure.
Note to self: get bullet resistant rear window and armor for rear cab sheet metal for p/u .
You are more generous than I would be. Answers and justice would only begin with the officers' incarceration. There would also ensue civil judgements for all involved. Personal justice would be a different, but necessary, discussion.
