A 16-page internal Department of Justice memo leaked to the media asserts that any person, American citizen or not, can be legally assassinated if “a high ranking White House official deems it warranted.”
While this asserted authority would appear to contradict the Constitution's prohibition of capital punishment except where the accused has had the benefit of a fair trial, Attorney General Eric Holder maintains that “the President and those he appoints to serve under him have the residual authority to override this protection if national security requires it. Action taking at the behest of an informed high-level official is to be preferred, as I see it, to a ritualistic reliance on devotion to out-dated legal traditions.”
Press Secretary Jay Carney pronounced that “Attorney General Holder's reassurance on this matter should convince Americans that these targeted killings are legal, ethical and wise. The voters have freely elected Barack Obama to be their President. Now is the time for them to reap the benefits of his judgment.”
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) expressed some reservations. “There's no question that if George Bush had tried this we'd be unloading on him with everything we had,” observed spokesman Bertram Petty. “With President Obama, though, we have to weigh matters more carefully. On principle, allowing the government to murder opponents is generally something we'd oppose. However, we don't want to take such a strict position that we help narrow President Obama's latitude to do what he thinks is right and necessary.”
Media pundits are similarly conflicted. On MSNBC's Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski admitted that “if George Bush had done this it would have been stopped. We knew he couldn't be trusted. But with President Obama—do we really want to tar him with the same brush? Might making too much of the issue do more harm than good?”

Obamanation has destroyed the US Constitution and is a rogue dictator whom half of Amercia follows as their King. He will go down as the most evil President in history after the wars he started and blood he shed are revealed in history books of the future.
This is surreal. I actually feel numb, like this is some sort of nightmare.
As an official Bitter Clinger I am concerned what my next move should be.
This arrogant administration is doing what Obama said they would, and it’s not at all pretty. I believed the threats when he said he was going to “fundamentally change the United States” and I believe most of the nincompoops that voted for him TWICE! didn’t even understand what they were voting for.
Scary when satire is so close to the truth.
I get it now, Obama is asserting the same rights as this Dorner cop killer.
Both have now claimed a right to assassinate their enemies. Simple.
Now I get it!
Personally, I don’t like satire that is so close to reality. It confuses ppl who don’t know the difference between facts and fiction (I hate Oliver Stone movies,too.)
With a little digging, one could rewrite this as a straight article using anti-Patriot Law comments by liberals and it would have more satirical bite.

Looking again and realizing you’re the author? Sorry, I wouldn’t have been so harsh. :( It’s well-written; that’s not it. Maybe it’s the fact that the satire is too believable that bothered me.
Then again, that’s the point of satire, isn’t it?
Now the question is what does he consider who an enemy is?.
This guy and his administration are running roughshod over this country and no one is stopping them. And my two senators voted to allow the government to arbitrarily monitor ALL electronic communication making it virtually impossible to organize against the beast, so I guess some lone wolf will have to act, or perhaps a nation of lone wolves.
No pretty resolutions occur to me.
I’m sure this will be picked up by big brother, eh boys? So all the folks that monitor this and all other communications that suggest disgust for the piece of work in the White House best get after protecting the won from gozillions of lone wolf operators. And furthermore, the jerks on the dole making a living guarding, with guns, the ones who aim to disarm or assassinate us should be ashamed of their treasonous selves. Any real patriot would leave the job or sacrifice his own life to bring about Biden’s short presidency.
I wonder how long before a post like this brings a drone to my neighborhood...I sure would rather see Obama come to Christ and just foul up the devil’s plans. It can happen. Pray for the guy.
